We will all love Flight because....

Featured Replies

I will love MS Flight because it will not be the product that I was expecting, which means that I will not need to purchase it, and can carry on using FSX quite happily without worrying about having to spend huge amounts of money to upgrade the UK to the level of quality that it has already attained on my PC.Tetley, please. Nice and strong, not too much milk, and a quarter of a teaspoon of sugar.Cheers!

I hope this satisfies the forum FBI agents that this thread has now taken a more serious tone and is at one again with the serious business of being serious about pixels. Tri-modular grunting snarks eh? My God, what will those boys in Redmond come up with next.Hurrahh!! Free tea for all!
To be quite serious (if that's what the quality of this forum is to be judged by), you know why Microsoft is not talking to us now?I've mentioned it a couple of times already so I hope you don't mind if I harp on with a repetitious theme. I believe Microsoft is determined to keep us at a distance during the development of Flight because of the way some members of the development team were treated by some members of this and other forums prior to the release of FSX five years ago. Those of you who remember what the FSX forum was like then will remember how some members used this forum to bay for blood. Some members of the development team were kind enough to participate in the community throughout 2006 but were too often shot down. In spite of how sensitively some of you may feel about the criticism we are nevertheless a ferocious bunch where half of us either live in a zoo, or remain at large in the jungle to loot and pillage indiscriminately. It's no wonder when some of us get biten.Pardon Microsoft for learning from this experience and for being more careful with us this time round. We only have ourselves to blame! Perhaps our present display of humour will soften MS's attitude to us in future.
LOL! Microsoft is one of the most criticized companies in the history of the world. Microsoft has been accused of everything from being an anticompetitive monopoly to being the Antichrist. The company was derided for Windows Me, windows 98 and Windows vista. Microsoft account teams get beat up all day long for their server software and application issues. Bill Gates gets pies thrown at him. Microfsoft can handlemall of that, But according to you, Microsoft had their feeling hurt by a handful of people on a small niche forum in reference to a niche game that doesn't even total up to enough profit for Microsoft to count as a rounding error? Not to mention that FSX was released as a complete mess, magic , and broken promises of DX10 and was linked to the copmplete failure that is Vista, but according to you that is our fault? Really.I will love MS Flight because Microsoft will have learned from the response to FSX that they brought onto themselves and do a lot better this time. If they don't then it's their own fault not ours.

Judging by the typical way things work out around here, there will be speculation about whether or not this was too serious...
