December 19, 201114 yr The reason why i actually got into FS was after the first time i flew for real i remember the flight like it was yesterday from Amsterdam to Paris with a KLM 737-400 back in 2000 my uncle brought us to the airport and he said Johan don't worry about about a thing once you trottle up on the runway you will be hooked to it forever(ofcourse i didn't believe him at that time lol)So after my mom and i checked in for the flight and we were trough customs i was getting scared shitless once the moment we walked trough the gate to the airplane i knew there was no way back for me so i sat down strapped my self tightly in because i was really scared that something would happend. But what my uncle said every word was true we taxiied to runway 24 and we started to make serious speed on the runway from that moment i was shouting out of excitement and once airborn i was hooked forever. After we came back i started to look everything about aviation and that's how i came across FS Johan Ketting MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon Intel Core i7-7700K 16GB @2400mhz 128gb SSD 2TB HDD

December 20, 201114 yr PMDG 737NG (FS2004) , saw an advertisment in PC Pilot and was amazed. Bought the plane and my head was instantly thrown into a tail spin with the realism that it provided for the time. I soon found myself being the first to board commerical aircraft to discuss systems with the pilots (nothing like learning from the real deal), and watching their jaws drop from the questions I was asking all because of a simulation. Was a great time in my life to learn about aviation and have been progressing my dreams ever since.
December 20, 201114 yr Precision Simulator One! (PS1) OK not a real add on, but it got me inot comple systems. Then I got FSX and purchased the 747X from PMDG. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

December 21, 201114 yr Captain Sim 757How was your experience with this your first aircraft. I bought it later in my addon buying history, but the CS757 had a real rough start. Derek RogersPC Specs: Intel i7-4790K 4.6GHz : 16GB RAM : GTX 970 4GB
December 21, 201114 yr Level-D 767 was the first one I appreciated. My actual first was the payware boxed "Air Force One" add on for FS98. It came with the 747/704 and a Russian scenery. I loved that add on but was too young and immature to appreciate it for long. The Level-D 767 was also my first really appreciated addon. It really showed me how different of an experience a quality developed payware plane is over freeware. I remember being very concerned about buying the Level-D 767 feeling that it was a waste of money to buy an addon when there was a lot of freeware. Now I've spent a lot of money on payware addons and look at the payware offerings first. Derek RogersPC Specs: Intel i7-4790K 4.6GHz : 16GB RAM : GTX 970 4GB

December 21, 201114 yr How was your experience with this your first aircraft. I bought it later in my addon buying history, but the CS757 had a real rough start.I didn't have to much of a struggle with it. It definitely had its bugs, but nothing to make the plane unflyable. As far as it being my first addon, I printed out the manuals, and read lots of forum posts, and watched lots of tutorial videos. I've since moved onto bigger and better planes (PMDG), but still fly the old bird occasionally...
December 21, 201114 yr Dreamfleet 737 for FS2000. Brilliant aircraft, systemised as well as today's offerings. I still mourn the loss of it; perhaps it's because it was my first serious addon!
December 21, 201114 yr I flew plenty of default and freeware planes when I started simming with FS2000 when I was 10 years old, 12 years ago. I remember I got my first payware plane for my 14th birthday, and right than I was hooked. It was Flight 1 (I think) DC-9 pro, got it online at Just Flight. Loved the classic airplanes, a few months later got the Captain Sim 727 for FS9 than the RFP 747-200 which after the NGX the 742 is my all time favortie add on, I only hope one day someone will bring a 747-200 like that to FSX one day! I have owned three PMDG planes the orginal 737 for FS9 744X and now the fantastic NGX 600-900. How FS has changed through the years. Steven Herzberg, "I rather be flying"
