December 16, 201114 yr PMDG's 737NG for FS2004 opened up a whole new world of virtual aviation for me! Jim BlakeCaptain, SWA Virtual AirlinesReal World C172 Pilot, AOPA #06034701
December 16, 201114 yr Cessna 421 I think, the first serious one was the 737NG, which I will always treasure. Dan Downs KCRP
December 16, 201114 yr Wilco 767 Pilot in Command for FS2000. I couldn't believe that after years of flying FS already, something like this could come out and blow the FS world up. Adam Hill
December 17, 201114 yr Level-D 767 was the first one I appreciated. My actual first was the payware boxed "Air Force One" add on for FS98. It came with the 747/704 and a Russian scenery. I loved that add on but was too young and immature to appreciate it for long. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
December 17, 201114 yr That's funny that was my first add-on to followed by the pss 744 and then the pmdg 744FS9/X and still going strong on that particular bird :)Same here as far as the PSS next ;)In fact, that was one of my very first web sites. I did a very detailed tutorial on start up procedures but not just the start up, also a lot of what was happening during each flick of a switch, N1, N2 and N3 (RR) rotations etc. To this day it was one of my most lengthy write ups and still my favorite. Now if I could only find it... I did it with Front Page 2000 haha. Ahh, good times. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
December 17, 201114 yr PSS 747 for FS2000 :)That was the first commercial add on. My first freeware add on was a TWA MD80 for FSFW95. :)
December 17, 201114 yr I purchased Wilco A320 & CS 757 at the same time but technically, I flew the 757 first. Then came the 744X Chris Ferguson PC Specs(Rebuilt 1/11/19): i7-9700K - Non-OC'd, EVGA RTX 2080ti, G.Skillz 16GB Ram 3000mhz, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000w PSU, Cooler Master ML360R, ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 MoBo, 2x 2TB HDD, 1x 1TB Samsung EVO SSD, 1x 220GB WD SSD

December 18, 201114 yr Flight1 ATR 72-500 for FS9 :) I was probably 8 when I first got that...wow that was a long time ago. Touch and goes with an ATR and I only convinved my father to get it for me because I though the propellors looked "cool" Cameron Caldwell CPL (A) King Air 200 Pilot
December 18, 201114 yr Haha, funny you say that about why you wanted it Cameron. My brother in law just took me for a ride in his new car (very nice). It's night so all the cool dash lights are lit up and his cup holders have a ring in them that is back lit. My first "Awww that is cool" moment I think that started my passion for flight was the back panel lighting. That is actually one of the major things that got me into pit building years ago. I told him I would be a sucker for his car and an easy target for any salesman if the car had a nicely lit dash and the cup holders would have got me ;)So in short, you never really grow out of that I think. Sure, we change or gain wisdom etc, but what we're attracted to never really changes. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
December 18, 201114 yr As i'm quite new to flightsimming (started back in june 2010), my first aircraft was the PMDG MD11 (boxed)The first days were quite hard because of all those new technical things i had to learn, but that was the beginning of a new hobby :D regards, Alexander Marx
December 19, 201114 yr My fist FS payware addon was Eaglesoft's Citation CJ1. I used it to complete a world tour that I had started with my version of Chuck Dome's Citation Mustang (with a modified PFD/ND taken from the default Learjet. This was my first - an only - FS world tour. Now THAT was a lot of fun !)Then, like many simmers I fell in love with PMDG's 737 NG for FS9.Bruno
December 19, 201114 yr I'm actually not sure what I got first, the PMDG 757,767,777 line for Fly! or the PSS747. What really got me hooked flying airliners was the Dreamfleet 2000 737 which will forever have a special place in my flightsimming heart. Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
