December 20, 201114 yr Commercial Member Fortunately there are real world pilots (Geofa) that think differently from you. X-P and FSX have pluses and minuses, an honest and balanced review would never say FSX beats X-P 10 hands down...MarcoP.S. (Yeah, they say "don't feed them", but sometimes I just couldn't help don't feeding them...)An honest and balanced review would never say X-P 10 beats FSX hands down... either. December 20, 201114 yr Unless they honestly believe it does ;)Does it really matter, to you, what "they" believe? drawbridge designs
December 20, 201114 yr To be quite honest, No. I couldn't careless. With the exception of a few here who I respect and have learned to listen to.I am surprised anyone replied as it was a tongue in cheek answer. But I think a truthful one nevertheless.
December 20, 201114 yr Moderator Hey. here's an idea for those that think it's rubbish...(Jim)Don't like it? Don't buy it.How 'bout THAT?To be perfectly honest, at this point I wouldn't have it on my computer if it were free......until it has matured to the point that developing for it is no longer a constantly moving target.I do believe that X-Plane does offer quite a bit that is excellent, but still has a lot of growing pains to go through yet... December 20, 201114 yr Commercial Member Unless they honestly believe it does ;)Oh... so if someone believes FS beats X-Plane that's a flawed review... but if it's the other way around... it's not?? Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
December 20, 201114 yr How many flight hours (total time/type) does one need to have to be able to review an aircraft and/or flight simulation software?I don't know, but it does matter to some XP folks!
December 20, 201114 yr I don't know, but it does matter to some XP folks!I'd say......at least 20,592, right Jim? :(

Or we know something you don't know. Considering you don't have x plane, and probably don't know much about it and have based most, if not all your opinions on hearsay and a few screenshots, I'm inclined to think it's the latter.Because it IS selling. And it's selling better than Laminar hoped it would.

December 20, 201114 yr I don't know, but it does matter to some XP folks! You're dodging the question. Forget X-Plane. I'm not interested in going there. But one could deduct from your earlier comment that flight experience/hours are relevant to those who review aircraft/flight simulation software. drawbridge designs
