I know the whole "Hawail" only thing has been speculated to death, but that is because MS feeds into it by not confirming anything.. so my question is...Just wondering what the consensus will be if Flight turns out to be a Hawaii only sim? Will you still buy it or keep on chugging with FSX or another sim? Me myself, I have put a considerable effort in time and money into FSX (owning just about every quality addon) and so Flight would need to be scalable with third party software to allow me to use my addons-- like ASE 2012 which I just got the other night.

well M.S. Have been guilty of doing some pretty dumb things, like closing aces and stopping development of their no1 game, i just hope that the brainbox who made that decision is no longer at M.S. after all who could give an someone like that respect? I cant see that flight will be just hawaii , it would be another shot in the foot and hopefully they wouldnt make another dumb decision with fsim.However if flight is not substantially better than fsx people will vote with their wallets and we shall all migrate over to prepar3d or something similar.

If everything is up to my expectations with Hawaii and Hawaii is the starting point I'll shop for more in the store.....

I'm perfectly happy and comfortable with FS9. I have no aspersions of upgrading to either FSX or Flight.I would rather sit back and watch the festivities; so many people making assumptions and speculating about what Flight is going to include...Of course, no one's going to be satisfied with it, no matter what MS does.When the masses start P & M'ing about it, or about any other unproven assumption that didn't come true, I'll have my violin at my side,ready to play a dirge and say, "Awww, poor little baby! Whatsa matter... no FMC in the Panel? No hottie FA to wipe your sniffling nose?Microsoft treated you like a whining little whelp... aw, poopsie!" :Cry:Hmmm... and you were expecting something different? :(

Not worry about it/wait for the rest of the world to be available in the store, as we know that the world WILL be available in one way or another at some point in time.

I wont buy it if my own country Denmark is not represented, and it has to be in great detail too with accurate roads and landmarks. If its only Hawail i have no use for it.

If the price isn't high then I'll buy it. If the price is high, I'll wait for Flight 2.

If it is limited to Hawaii and no plans for any other part(s) of the world, I would still probably buy it. I would really hope that another company would take advantage of the opportunity to create a global sim worthy of replacing FSX for the majority of users, whether that be X-plane, which needs quite a bit of functionality to seriously compete, Prepar3d, which needs add-on support and a consumer price, or another player. Who knows, maybe Aerosoft would move forward with their prior plans, or perhaps a company utilizes an engine like Outerra (if that ever gets released), or wouldn't it be great is Orbx came up with a title. Still have my fingers crossed that MS will soon say that Flight will be global.

I will move to Hawaii as most of my flights are local. Duh...big red truck..lol
