If you do... try flying the RV-6 on an ILS approach in Heavy Fog somewhere... pretty intense not having an autopilot and having to hand-fly to ILS mins.

I got the pack as well. Downloaded just as I was finishing up last night so will be checking it out today.

At that price, filling this game with any meaningful amount of scenery is going to cost thousands of dollars...

Still considering it, want to try out the base package a bit more first. One thing I'd be interested in is hearing if all the IFR equipment works correctly? I.e. will the RV (and/or Maule) allow you to actually make use of the various navaids that are sprinkled around the map?

The RV (which comes with the pack) supports IFR well, and is really getting "back to basics" of instrument flying. :Nerd:

It is a sweet plane with panel that reminds me of the quality of RealAir.(Now.... let the games begin).I felt the same way about the scenery Fr. Bill (i.e. terrific)... I even felt on the order of (here it comes) Orbx... if not a skosh better.

Well I had all the scenery and airplanes in the beta but didn't get the scenery in the release. But I will gladly stump up 15 quid for that, it's well worth it. I'm a bit disappointed not to see any mention of future addons. Early days so let's wait and see.Ed.

If I buy the DLC's will it be locked to this install, or if not how is it transferred to another machine/ Windows Install? This is prolly a dumb question compared to many, but I feel an FAQ stickied would be good, indeed for simple question I like to see an FAQ! :)

I have been presented with a particularly nice opportunity to vote with my wallet.I bought the Hawaii package immediately.For the beta participation, I was given the Maule and the P-51 for free. I quickly downloaded the Maule. Having a blast with it. But a plane without cockpit, I will not download, not even for free.

You may as well. That way at least you'll see it rather than a "flying arrow" should someone else actually be flying it in multi-player!

So how do you get it to work?I downloaded it and it says in the market that it was installed but I don't know how to add it to Flight. When I go into Flight it still asks on the main menu if I want to buy it and it doesn't show up on the map screen.So far this has not been a very good experaince for me. I can't log into Live from within the game and the purchaused scenery doesn't show up.

Oh my, then you've got a problem. The content must be installed while connected to LIVE. There's no other way.That message about the Adventure Pack is there for everyone, all the time even if it is already installed. Note that there's an Arrow button on both sides to allow you to scroll through the current store offerings.
