All installed perfectly!, but...Mine is doing the S turns without Active Sky, I had to clear all the weather in order to calm it down. Also the speed jumps constantly from 320 knots to 368...to 263! The overspeed warning coming up since its jumping from 320 to 364 etc... I never had this type of problems with the plane turning, or weather related with SP1B...Therefore I think I'll go back to the old SP

If your missing the tutorial flight #2 in FSX especially with the german version of FSX look out for the folder "Flight Simulator X Files" and move the content starting with "PMDG 737NGX Tutorial #2 ..." to "Flight Simulator X-Dateien" a subfolder of "Eigene Dateien"

Thanks for all of your hard work at PMDG, it is really appreciated the work that you put into making your product the finest on the market. Despite peeps grumbling it shows you how keen they are to get their hands on the latest updates. My download and install worked a treat but I am still ploughing through the first tutorial and will be some time off no.2 but it looks brilliant.

This update did the same thing it did with the 744. On the third leg of a flight with Active Sku 2012 the 737ngx starts to roll gradually from side to side. VNAV LVAV Auotpilot all fine. Cruise speed and no wheather changes. Service Pack 1C will destroy your experience. Stay with Service Pack 1B.If you have trouble like I have described above, simpy disconnect from Active Sky and reconnect it. PMDG might say it's a HIFI problem. It's not. Worked fine on service pack 1B.Steve

Absolutely nothing was changed with the roll channel control algorithms - they've been the same since SP1 like 4 or 5 months ago. You're seeing the standard FSX weather crap - disable turbulence and thermal effects in FSX, lower the turbulence scale in fsx.cfg and if need be use FSUIPC to suppress turbulence, gusts and variance.SP1c is a required update - any further products in the NGX line will build on it and we will not be offering support for people who stay on outdated versions because they don't believe what we say about our own product. (seriously, who knows this code better than we do? cmon)

I got this problem after installing service pack 1c, even the PMDG house livery does the same thing.Alex Jevdic-2012-mar-4-002.jpg
If you're using EZdock, you need to re-run the EZDOCK configuration tool.

Correct - the EZCA config entries are removed when the new cfgs are placed there. Rerun the tool.

I don't see any performance improvement ???? I remember Robert that this update is about performance improvement. The same FPS and laggy on a high end machine.Evan Banalian.

Yep that did the trick, thanks!

Robert did not say this was "about performance improvement" - the primary reason for the update was SDK related things in fact. We always have little performance related things here and there in all our updates, but there's never going to be some magic bullet that causes a machine that gets low FPS to suddenly start getting high FPS. What are your specs?

I understand this perfectly!, but the airplane was flying fine with the "FSX weather crap" with clouds, rainy, storms, windy, without this kind of performance or me doing any changes to the FS weather, I just go in select a weather theme and that was it. all this S turns and jumping speed is the first time I see it in FS.Usually most of the time I use real weather updates, not predefined themes. Also I was flying exactly the same pre-saved flight as I done several times perfectly fine KLGA to KDCA with SP1B.

Thanks PMDG for the fantastic support you're showing for this wonderful aircraft. Not to seem ungrateful but I think there are a

couple of minor bugs related to the PFD still seem to persist after SP1c. I've submitted tickets on these items and was told they would be passed on to the dev team. If anyone can confirm these items are modelled correctly after all it would put my mind at rest:

1) The F/D bars are supposed to 'retract' i.e. disappear, at 50 feet RA on all ILS approaches - manual landing included - at least that's how I read the FCOM. Currently they only disappear on a fail passive autoland. The manual references this in FCOM vol.2.2) With the EFIS/MAP display option selected single channel autopilot operation (with approach selected) should state '1 CH' in amber. At the moment it's got 'SINGLE CH' in amber. Not massive I know, but it's somehow bugging me.3) When doing a IAN approach and descending below 100ft RA the autopilot disconnects - which is correct. But the manual states that we should also get an amber 'AUTOPILOT' annunciation on the PFD - which we don't.

Adam Turley

First one is right in the NGX - the FD bars stay there through a fail operation autoland for flare and rollout guidance - they have to, that's part of the spec. If you look in the FCTM there's a table showing exactly what the FD/PFD do with fail op vs. fail pass.Second one looks like an error, I'll log that.Third one, we knew about this but something prevented us from doing the annunciation, I'll have to ask again about it.
Just to let you know chaps...Like last time, the downloads aren't working in IE8.However, they download fine in Google Chrome.
Works just fine in all three major PC browsers here.
Anywayz, why do we need to keep the updates? (SP1, SP1b, c) Can't we just redownload them from the PMDG website? :( I didn't do that for SP1 and SP1b.
We would certainly prefer you keep the file rather than downloading over and over, bandwidth cost etc...
Does the .ini configuration files from version SP1b works correctly with SP1c, allowing us to backup them and paste on the appropriate folder after install this update, os do we have to reconfigure mannualy our aircrafts via FMC?Thanks!Marcelo Monteiro
There are no options changes in SP1c so yes, they still work fine.
If I download via the extended service will this sp1c update be integrated or does this patch need to be downloaded seperately. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Yes, the full installer has SP1c integrated.
Thanks for the nice update PMDG!But i have one thing!Find the difference..In real 1 zero digit and in the NGX 3 zero digits..
Believe this is an option actually, I'll check though.
After updating to Sp1c my FSX make more, more, and more BLACK SCREEN than before, what happen?its impossible for me to run FSX with Enb Series now.it crash and freeze every time when i switch between window to full screen or vice versa.please i ask all the one who run it to give me a link to download the same Enb series he use for this. Thanks for helping
Using ENB with no problems at all here. Make sure FSX is set to the same resolution and color depth as your Windows desktop - that can cause this too if they're not. Bottom line though we can't guarantee compatibility with every other addon under the sun, especially ones that are using dll injection to modify the graphics stream - we have absolutely no control over that.
