March 7, 201214 yr I'm assuming that the forthcoming CD's that I purchased along with the NGX download will have the new Sp1c incorporated in it. So, I'm going to wait and download the Sp1c when I get the backup CD version sometime after the 3/19/2012 or the thereabouts release to the postal service. I don't want to have any problems....'Period, the End'.. :Thinking:Regards, jen noulet
March 7, 201214 yr I'm assuming that the forthcoming CD's that I purchased along with the NGX download will have the new Sp1c incorporated in it?SP1c is required for all future NGX expansions. Would not make sense not to include it on the CD now would it?So yes you will get the very latest, greatest SP1c on your Backup CD. :( Paul Deemer

Would not make sense not to include it on the CD now would it?So yes you will get the very latest, greatest SP1c on your Backup CD. :(I wouldn't worry if it hadn't. Eventually there will be further updates that you will have to download thus making your 'current' backup rather obsolete.
March 7, 201214 yr ? after installing service pack C my weather seems to be off. I'm using REX 2.0 for my weather and have a regsitered version of FSUIPC which has "winds smoothing" checked. The problem I'm having is prior to service pack C (running service pack :( when I would climb my TAT temp would slowly drop as I climbed, i..e into the negative numbers as it got colder the higher I climbed. Now with service pack C I can depart KLBB for example and on the ground it will be +18C however as I attempt to climb up to to FL360 for example the TAT rises to really high temps like +56C. This seems strange, seems like it should get colder now?I say attempt to climb to FL360 because around FL280 I start getting an FMC message saying "unable to crz alt"I also seem to be getting these "s turns" ya'll are talking about. I didn't have this prior to service pack C. Should I just uninstall and re-install? makes you sea-sick as it flops back and forth....Any Tips or suggestions? Thanks. Gus
March 7, 201214 yr ? what settings do ya'll have in your registered version of FSUIPC? What do you have checked and unchecked?I totally uninstalled the PMDG NGX 600/700/800/900 rebooted my PC and then reinstalled 800/900 and then 600/700. I just purchased this plane last week so I have the download that includes service pack B. I installed his and now the plane is really making bad S-turns. It was not doing this prior to the C service pack so I figured falling back to B would cure it. However now it's still doing it.I'm currently at FL 250 trying to climb to FL370 and it tells me the TAI is on above 10 degrees, there is NO WAY it should show +52C at this alt.I'm thinking it must have something to do with FSUIPC. I did not have a registered copy last week when Service pack B was running just fine. Now this weekend I purhcased a registered copy of FSUIPC to hopefully smooth out the REX 2.0 winds and now the plane is doing the bad S turns.Any help, tips or suggestions would be great. I'm getting sea-sick watching this thing go back and forth and it would be nice if it would climb above FL250.Thanks.EDIT: I was able to get the plane to climb above FL250 but only by going into the FMC/simulation and turning A/T to manual override, then putting the throttles all the way to 99% and manually using the V/S Gus
March 7, 201214 yr I think I found the culprit. I was using SB last week and all was well. This week I started using FSINN. I uninstalled FSINN and now all is working perfect. I'm going to reapply the C update, but B was working fine with FSINN removed from the picture. Gus

Maybe it was a setting in FSINN that was causing the weather to be off (really hot outside) and not allowing a climb above FL250, I also no longer have the S-Turns issue not that FSINN is out of the equation.I've made successful flights online using SB and offline using Radar Contact and all is working great! :( Gus
March 8, 201214 yr Hi there,First a big thank to the whole PMDG team for their wonderful work. I haven't got deep enough in the B737 knowledge yet to see any mistakes and or any differences in all of the "details" of the display and failures, but I really appreciate the active support from PMDG anyway.I must confess I preferred Airbus... until I discovered PMDG's products months ago. Now I exclusively fly the NGX for short and medium haul and MD11 for long haul (sometimes the 747 for VA reason), at least until I could find an Airbus with the same quality as PMDG brings to their birds...arf!Now I wouldn't like giving the impression to ask always for more... but, is there any plan to implement the RTA function in the NGX FMC as it is in the MD11? I find that "gadget" function really powerful when it comes to respect flight times when you fly for a virtual airline.By the way, do the real pilots use that function? Thanks again for the quality of your products and you support.Romain Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. March 8, 201214 yr Yeah thank you guys as usual done a cracking job on making this beautiful plane even better...Regards Steve
March 8, 201214 yr Yes regarding FsInn, you must disable the weather function as it is a well known bug which makes the temperature rise instead of lowering it. I fly on vatsim with FsInn (WX disabled) with Active sky, no problem t all.The advantage is you can fly with the a/c in full screen ,not in window mode which gives me +30% FPS.All the bestAlainv
