Just to confirm I meant the 747-8 or the -400 and not the Dash 8 turboprop. If there is a remake I think they may surprise us with brand new instalments of both 400 and Intercontinental models- hopefully.Rich

The 748F has only been in service for about 4-5 months...the PERF Manual as it stands will be being re-written as we speak & in a state of constant update for a little while yet while the burn numbers settle down.
This is not correct - the aircraft would not get a certification for actual commercial use if Boeing didn't know what the the performance data was ahead of time. The -8 already has full manuals (as does the 787 etc).
