FSL A320

Depends what it was. In spite of all that funky Airbus commonality, just like Boeings, not all Airbuses are created equal, many of them have different customer options where operations are concerned, just as some Boeings do. The 'expedite' option, for example, is not found on all A320s.Al

Somebody posted something negative about this plane in the PMDG FB section re:the MCP yesterday or the day before, and yet a lot of thumbs-up here. I have their Concorde, boxed, so am going by that.
There were a lot of negative posts about competitors in our Facebook page but, as we've told people time and again, we have zero tolerance for product bashing, be it in our forum or on our Facebook page, so we delete them the minute we notice them. We only hope that others do the same, but unfortunately, that's up to them to uphold...We are confident, though, that simmers make up their own minds - that's been proved time and again by the popularity the Concorde-X enjoyed. We firmly believe you'll really enjoy the A320-X as well!

.. I'm sure we'll enjoy it.However, I don't like the way most of the developpers (Fslabs, PMDG....) behave nowadays when they are questionned about release dates... My son is a salesman and even though his product delivery dates depends on many variables he does not master, he is obliged to give approximates/estimated and updated deadlines to his customers... he can just walk away saying "you'll know when I'll decide"... otherwise he would lose his customers and/or his service would be perceived as very low...

too much, too soon....

Well, its a sellers market. They can act how they like, its the quality of their products that makes them desirable. I prefer them saying that it will be released when its ready than to estimate a date, then release it two years later.

Release dates on any FS product are idiocy until like...just over the "flare path". Even on "short finals" its too risky to predict when it will be out because (and i know from first hand experience here) anything can go wrong extremely easy, especially in complex birds like the airbuses, requiring a "go-around". And quite frankly.....the outrage of customers when a dev fails to release on time is far worse than not telling them when its coming. So....patience guys. And Lefteris.....I know your pain. True Fly-By-Wire where you intercept control inputs and put them through your own formula instead of the crappy FSX Acceleration FBW system is a b*&^h.....Looking forward to what you pull off though :)

Lefteris,Can you do something with your website and forum. On Firefox, the website is not loading properly (and has not for a while) and I cannot even get to your forum (just tried). connection keeps timing out. I dont think its my side as I am navigating all over the cyber highway today with no other issues.

Eric,we'll be doing something about that - and soon. While none of the team has any issues (perhaps an occassional hiccup which a reload fixes), we've had some reports that have made us look for alternative, more stable solutions.

A330 is the coolest looking Airliner in the skies.
The A330 is the most generic looking airliner in the skies.
