April 18, 201214 yr A motorcyclist recently was passing stopped cars (I suspect at a stop light at rush hour that was backed up for a half mile or more) got into an accident and had to be airlifted out. Totally agree with you there, Ron. Being a biker myself I know how thrilling it can be to go really fast, but there are certainly better places for it than in traffic. April 18, 201214 yr In my home city of Tampa we have some long over water bridges, these guys do this all the time there as there is no way for cops in the oncoming lane to turn around and stop them. Every now and then one of them bites it, but it seems like there are always more to take their place.

Went to school in Tampa in the 90's before cameras on the bridges and have done those bridges in an anniversary edition Murcielago, a Viper and a 911 GT3 (middle of the night, no traffic) in my youth as well as some good runs up and down 75 on my old 600 RR :) Ah to be young, dumb, think you are invincible and have wide open flat roads in front of you LOL Now, I just had this delivered yesterday for my track days this year. The $225/weekend is well worth it to get my speed fix out safely on a track! rack! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
