June 5, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi i want to buy london heathrow airport payware . But i don't know who produce such a payware for this airport. If someone knows please provide me with some link an description about the airport to buy . Thanks UK2000 Heathrow Extreme (www.uk2000scenery.com) is the best in my opinion. Very true-to-life. Aerosoft's Mega-Airport Heathrow is good, but having both I prefer UK2000. Regards Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. June 5, 201214 yr I bought Aerosoft before I was aware of UK2000. Aerosoft will soon update their version, which dates back to 2008. I pretty much own everything else from UK2000, and their airports are very good and frame rate friendly. That said, I'm happy with the Aerosoft. June 5, 201214 yr UK2000 is the better one. Normally you can't go wrong with stuff from UK2000, and there is a demo of it available: http://www.uk2000sce...les/Page17.html Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 5, 201214 yr Author Thanks Chock an you guys also i will look into it right now am going to try the demo if i like it i will purchase it right away Mr Leny CPU I7 8700K @ 5.0GHz , MOBO -Asus Maximus X Hero (WiFi AC),GPU - GTX1080 TI , RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 16GB DDR4 3600MHz SSD -Crucial MX500 1TB (P3D Install Only)OS- Samsung 960 EVO 500GB (Window 10 Pro 64)
June 5, 201214 yr Not sure about the Aerosoft one, but the UK2000 one is quite heavy on frame rates. Ian R Tyldesley
June 5, 201214 yr Pretty much always going to be the case with Heathrow if you have a lot of traffic on, it is after all one of the busiest airports in the world, and will almost certainly be statistically the busiest one of all this year, owing to the Olympics being in London and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee also having occurred this year. June 5, 201214 yr I'm extremely knowledgeable with the Airport and current and I say UK2000 100%. Aerosoft is really old, Heathrow has changed massively. I think Aerosoft MAY do a V2 once they have data on the new T2 which is when you'll see a new Scenrey as no point making one now. - Luke Pabari
June 5, 201214 yr To find out everything about the London area and its payware options, one shouldn't miss this review by Benjamin. Worth a ton! http://www.simflight...te-city-london/ You will also find a comparison of the different EGLL options. Great work! Don't stare too long on the pictures with the default scenery. You may go blind. ^_^

Al Hey chock i notice you mention something about the Olympic being in London . Well now that you mention it is the rumors about some mayor one day return of the concord is that true? Because i have read something about it an they said it can't be done anymore because the concord has lost the license to fly something like that .Since it have been out of service for a very long time . So i don't know if it that same event they were talking about but i want to know when is the event maybe we will get lucky or something lol . June 6, 201214 yr Another vote for UK2000 EGLL, but as said it is heavy on frames. I think this is partly due to the proximity of central London if you are running high detail and lots of autogen.
June 6, 201214 yr I am a beta tester for UK2000, so take a wild guess which one I recommend Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
June 6, 201214 yr I used UK2000 on a mid range system duo core with a video card with 1mb and I have not experience any slow down on frames with EGLL. I don't think you can go wrong with any UK2000 scenery it is just the finest IMHO. Bob

There are a couple of active groups in the UK who are trying to gain support for a Concorde to be operated on flights as a heritage aircraft, but frankly it is somewhat unlikely that they'll ever get it to happen. Not impossible of course, since one group did actually manage to restore an Avro Vulcan back to flying condition, and I and many others in the UK gave some money towards that happening, but despite the fact that they are both delta-winged aircraft, the Vulcan is a subsonic aircraft, whereas the Concorde is a Mach 2 capable airliner with far more complex systems. What you have probably heard about, is that there is/was a plan for the Concorde G-BOAC (which is on display at Manchester Airport), to have some of its systems powered so that it could lower its nose visor as a salute at the opening ceremony for the Olympics. To be honest, I think that would be sad rather than spectacular, and merely highlight the fact that it could not fly, which is a state of affairs that is frankly a disgrace to this country. But even that plan is currently on hold because of the ridiculous obsession with 'health and safety' which permeates the UK when anyone dares to do something even remotely interesting these days.
