Does someone remember off hand what the Pro version of the Q300 costs? I think it's around $70 right?

It's 70 Euro..about 90 Canadian/US dollars. One of the more expensive addons out there.

Isn't the training version the one that is used for the real aircraft?

I think thats what I paid for it, well worth it and I'd pay more for the Q400, look at the thing, its looks, sounds and Im sure feels awesome. This company is on par with PMDG so far in my opinion.

more amazing pics up

My excitement for this thing is beyond compare. I'm completely giddy over it, and the wait is awful! I hope my computer is powerful enough to run it. If it is really good though, then this might be the kind of plane that would cause me to upgrade.

I think I am looking forward to this more than PMDG 777, I like the size and theQ4000 it's self.

777 is a BIG plane.

I love small airports upto big single runway airports.

This one is also on my list. The FS independent simulation of Flight Model sure makes this addon special! I'm not that much into the category of flight this plane do, I prefer Jets, but when an addon is so well made, that makes me want to fly it even more than most Boeings and Airbus available out there!

A definet buy all of a sudden all these aircraf coming out. Coolsky DC-9 (once its patched will be great) QW 146 not too long ago, this one the Dash-8-400 and PMDG 777. Not sure when the last two will come but saving up for all four!

This is a great plane as it has some roots of its Dash-8-300 Smaller brother that it can be a bit rugged and has good small field performance but at the same time it is larger and can be seen doing flights between cities. So it does matter if you are island hopping or doing DCA-LGA this plane does it all.

Steven Herzberg,

"I rather be flying"

Yeah, this is the plane I'm the most excited about as well. I also love the fact that they use an external physics engine. The old excuse that some developer use that its 'an FSX limitation' is no longer valid, as everything can be moved outside of the sim engine itself (okay, maybe not everything).

The use of an external flight dynamics model allows things normally impossible in FSX (stalls, spins, icing etc) but that requires an enormous job of integration because the model looses some "basic" things like pausing, replay, time compression, using struts, moving on ground... Contact points are no more used, .air file is useless. It's understandable that other companies don't spend years on integrating third-party FDE engines because not only it's a highly qualified work but it's also very long and expensive.

As for the Q400, using a more realistic FDE doesn't make it easier to fly ! All the contrary !

Although I am not Samdim, to give a clue would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Although progress is moving along fairly rapidly, an announcement will not be made until Boss sees it necessary to do so. Hopefully we should enter the "Beta" phase before Xmas.

Once people get used to flying this bird, they will have a hard time flying anything else that doesn't feature this External Flight Model Simulation, believe me!!!

But I understand, no one wants to take years to adapt on something that's incredibly more complicated than what they are used to.... UNLESS they want the Best, and besides your team, I can only think of two to maybe three others that qualifies in that category!

Can't wait
