How big of a screen are you guys simming with?

Just curious as to what screen size you guys are siming with these days... When I'm playing on the 360, I usually do it in my dedicated cinema with my 125" Cinemascope 2.40:1 screen and Epson 1080P projector.

As for my computer, I have put away the x3 Dell 2405FPW 24" LCDs which I had setup with nVidia Surround and now sim with a Sony Bravia KDL-46EX400 46" LCD HDTV @ 1920x1080x32.

I must say that even though it's just one screen, I prefer it way more than having the 3 smaller screens.

How about you guys?

Single 30" dell at 2560x1600 res, and flanked by portrait 20" screens that display manuals, flight plans, teamspeak or YouTube etc.

I did have triple screen for a bit using SoftTH. But I found I didn't need the width due to trackir

42 inch HDTV, suplemented with 24 inch and 19 inch LCD screens for Plan-G, FSINN radar, Rex, TS3, etc. Going to a 55 inch for my flight display. I use Track-Ir, so, I don't see a need for more than one flight display.

If going for 55", make sure you are at least 4-6' from the screen! I tried it with my 50" plasma for a few days at 2-3' from it and it was just too big to handle. Yea yea yea, that's what she said! LMAO

But seriously, if going 55", make sure you are a good distance from it.

Yeah, I have plenty of room. Having 4 to 6 feet between me and the screen will allow me to have the other screens (LCDs) and controls setup to supplement the experience. I have played some recorded flights onthe 55 and really like to size presentation.

Thanks for the advice.

Danny

Each to his own, but three 50" HDTVs (using an NV680), and separate views (center, right 90, left 90), with a fourth monitor below center for instruments, etc works very well.

Now that's what I'm talking about! I'm already contemplating doing the same thing with my 46"s! You have a pic?

Oh yea, no doubt! I've thought of moving my PC upstairs to the cinema room and using the 125" with the projector but I just can't convince the wife and kids. haha
