CS is really great in doning eye-candy stuff, such as virtual cabins, animations etc, but IMHO they should either improve their systems or drop them to support a "lite" aircraft.

Judging from their latest releases (707, 737-200), they have improved indeed. So let's see what they will come up with as far as a complex aircraft (777) is concerned. Although there are still a lot of bugs, it seems that we have every reason to be optimistic.

I just don't understand those who say they could do without eye-candy. Eye-candy belongs to a realistic feel as much as a good software. That's how we human beings work. Would you order blue spaghetti in a restaurant? I would be very reluctant because the visuals would turn me off. With the possibilities that we have nowadays, we can have eye-candy and good systems. That's what I expect from a great add-on. A PMDG 737NGX with a great cabin etc. would be better than without. I own that Airbus A300 for FSX that got excellent reviews. It sits there in the hangar because I just don't like the visuals. So the rock band Queen were right: I WANT IT ALL! ;-)

Oh oh, God forbid anyone likes something other than the NGX.

It's not that, it's just that saying any of the CS birds or 757 are better than PMDG's latest is a bit of a stretch. But of course we are all entilted to our opinions, even if we disagree.

Yes, but I still rather graphically outdated bird with good systems and FD than good looking bird that lacks in systems. I even keep enjoying ancient Cessna 441 from Flight 1 as in terms of systems and FD & sounds it feels right.

Sounds and flight dynamics, those really matter to me. CS 757 & 727 no matter how good they look have always felt really fake to me because of poor soundpack and FD that feels nothing. Their 707 on the other hand is good.

CS 767 really is miles ahead of my PMDG aircraft.

Let's see, we have a few options here:

1- You are related in any way to that ******* developer.

2- You are a troll.

3- You are in drugs.

4- All above.

God forbid a person likes one to the other.

I think saying the person is on drugs is a bit too far.

Everyone has their own opinion if you don't agree have a mature conversation about it or just leave it if you aren't capable of that.

My opinion is that the LDS is better ( LDS systems with CS graphics would be nice though) but its just my opinion and your entitled to your own

All of our opinions are subjective. If FIM thinks CS is miles ahead then that is his or her opinion.

My own opinion is that PMDG is ahead of CS in all but cabin rendering.

In all fairness, CS seems to be improving, but due to my own experiences I will not be purchasing CS products for the forseeable future.

I just come in here to read the desperate sentences from PMDG fans, stating how the 737 is the best ever addon for FSX, in great fear someone might ever forget about its greatness.

CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11

Obviously the opening post is worded, to create friction/attention,and another ridiculous "this vs that" addon comparison!

I pray this thread becomes locked!

Whatever the post was created for, it still holds truth as CS767 is one of the nicest ever FSX products. But yes, let's just lock it because it doesn't say "PMDG" anywhere in the title.

How about that DEFAULT 737? wow, amazing aircraft. I believe it's even more realistic than the REAL one! I should know, I've been on many real one's.

You're all under the bridge, I'm afraid.

It's sad when fans of a product ruin a product for you. Take the New York Yankees for example. Historically and consistently a phenomenal club, but I'll never root for them because their fans are d-bags.

Does CS 767 support hardware?

I'm not trolling, just want to know for sure if it really doesn't because I don't yet have a 767 to fly yet.
