October 18, 201213 yr I recently purchased from PC Aviator MegaSceneryEarth GrandCanyon thinking that it was an addition, some sort of overlay, to MSE Arizona which I had purchased from them 6 weeks ago. When I opened the file I noticed that it contained Arizona 002,003,007 and 008 which I already had. I then sent them an e-mail saying that the product info page did not clearly specify that MSE GrandCanyon was part of MSE Northern Arizona and suggesting to correct this. Today I received an e-mail from PC Aviator saying that they were sorry for the confusion and that they were refunding my purchase. These guys are really top notch as I did not ask them for a refund because I could have asked them before ordering if MSE GC was part of Arizona or not. October 18, 201213 yr I've had nothing but positive experiences purchasing from PC Aviator as well. Their FS Deal of the Day program is usually my favorite email of the day B)
October 18, 201213 yr I have no experience with PC Aviator, but it sounds as if they are top notch in customer support, giving a refund without you asking. Might have to check it out...Anyways glad to hear you were happy with them! FS2004 Forever
October 18, 201213 yr Moderator I wonder if I send them an email telling them that the two areas I bought for south Florida a few years ago were greatly disappointing, they would be prompted to give me a refund or a credit for some other tiles. I doubt it, but had I known they do refunds on downloads I would have emailed them at the time expressing my disappointment. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Never had a bad experience and I've bought alot through them. Definitelt top-notch. When they have their 7-day deals, it's so tempting and they're hard to resist sometimes with the great deals they have, especially seeing it for 7 days. jime James D. Edwards
October 19, 201213 yr BlueSky Rocks. It's free, but I do donate to keep them on it. They have googlebytes of the US west, and adding all the time. They correct/improve all the airports in the scenery as well. You can fly over a working "Old Faithful" in yellowstone. Far, Far superior then anything I've bought.
October 19, 201213 yr I have purchased a lot of stuff from PC Aviator in my first couple of years of flight simming, and they used to be my favorite place to get flight sim addons until I realized that their download shop will not save your downloaded products for future re-downloading. Simmarket is like having a huge web-based backup for all of your addon software. There is no limit on how many times that you can download and activate the products and, on top of that, they have a great search feature for finding any product that you have ever purchased through out the years. I can re-download stuff that I have purchased back in 1997. For me, their customer service has been perfect. As you probably know if you have purchased FTX Orbx, The Flightsim Store also keeps all of your downloads for unlimited re-downloading and activation (although they don't have the great search feature that Simmarket has) Also Aerosoft will keep your downloads for re-downloading and unlimited activation (They also have a search feature for your purchased products). I have purchased a few things as downloads, from the Avsim store, but I'm not sure if they have that service or not. I need to check. I asked PC Aviator about a product that I wanted to re-download and they told me that I would have to re-purchase it, and they don't keep any purchased downloads on their server. When I purchase something, I would have a certain amount of days to get my download, then I need to keep my own backup of the product. I told them that (other than the "Deal of the Day") I will not purchase from them until they start keeping my purchases on their servers for future downloading. They said that they were sorry to loose my business, but I guess that's the way it goes down under. With so many great Flight sim web stores keeping your downloads for as long as you have an account with them, I find it really silly to purchase from someone who refuses to do that, especially when 98% of my purchases are downloads. Other than that, they are a great store, but I will only buy boxed products from them, which I very very rarely do at all, unless it is just not available as a download. I've lost several of my DVD products, so I don't like flight sim stuff in that form if I can help it. Robert Yunque
October 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member No problems with PC Aviator either, though now I had to contact their support as FSAltitude product that I ordered from PCaviator australia has its second disc corrupted and thus it refuses to install, now I have huge areas with no photoreal textures around Germany, Poland and parts of UK. If they get this fixed and send me a new DVD for those files all the way from Australia then I will totally praise them.
October 19, 201213 yr Same here. I always had very pleasant dealings with them. I once purchased MegaScenery 2005 PNW, but couldn't download for some reason. It always ended up being corrupted. I contacted them, and they were sorry and were sending me the files on disc. A week later I had an original copy of the software on my doorstep. No self-burned image of the files, no, an actual copy of the real thing. Great guys! October 19, 201213 yr I realized that their download shop will not save your downloaded products for future re-downloading. Whoa!? Really? This is bad news if true and I too may stop purchasing from them.
October 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member Myself I backup all my payware download products on both my computer and external hard drive so that isn't a problem to me.
October 19, 201213 yr I stopped purchasing from them when, after a hard drive failure, they told me I would have to repurchase all my planes over again. Plenty of other places with more reasonable policies so I don't miss them. John

Plenty of other places with more reasonable policies so I don't miss them. You need to save those e-mails where they have the registration numbers to reinstall your product. I keep a folder just with copies of all the addons I have ever bought and a special folder in my Outlook e-mail program contains every registration number for every addon so I can reinstall them in case I buy a new computer or, the hard drive fails.
