UK2000 Heathrow Extreme!

Featured Replies

I got lucky and got most of mine whilst a member of the "flyuk" virtual airline, and got discount for that as well as £1 off for multibuys, so think mine worked out about £13 each or so! Absolute bargain!

It's updated regularly. I expect the next update won't be till the new Terminal 2 is finished. The last update was with it demolished. Whilst it doesn't currently feature the building work that's going on (what a mess it is and how much work it would be to depict it!), it is pretty much bang up to date.

1 Yes VAT is included

Would that mean someone in a non-European county (i.e. me in Canada) would pay a lower price than what is posted on the website?

No. Its very likely that his turnover is not high enough to have to register for VAT, thus no VAT at all could be how it is currently.

In the UK, if your turnover isnt high enough, you don't have to charge VAT at all. The price you see is what it costs, period, but if he is VAT registered, he must display his VAT number on the website.

I was waiting for the Aerosoft Mega Heathrow, do you recommend buying the UK2000 in stead?

Did you see the title of this thread, and read the posts in it? lol (I'm joking of course)

There is no comparison. If you snooze, you loose.

They should be clearly mentioning that on their website and e-shop.

RCITGuy is in fact quite right and I should've been clearer.

I don't know if he includes VAT. What I intended to say was "what you see is what you pay" i.e. you won't have to add VAT on. Whether it is included will depend on whether he's VAT registered.

Sorry for the confusion.

A few questions regarding this add-on:

But firstly, I have now changed the 'Select Scenery' option to 'Low' as I just did a flight, NGX and AI=40 with it set to 'Go XTREME!!' and my fps were Xtremely low.

1) What does the 'FSX coded ground' option actually mean?

2) When I create a flight plan in FSX the gate numbers seem to be completely different to the actual gate numbers shown on the airport charts. Also, I can't find a gate located in T5.

3) Do I need to select the option 'Install AFD file with Airline codes'?

I really like this add-on as it reminds me of home...a miserable airport to arrive as a passenger from down under as you can well imagine :Sleepy:

in terms of the gates at T5, just load a gate where the first number is 5 :) so, GATE 5XX

The problem is I appear to have the default FSX gate numbers with 463 being the highest numbered gate. Perhaps I should un-install and re-install EGLL?

Just make sure that its scenery layer is of higher priority (i.e. earlier in the FSX-displayed list, later & higher numbered in the SCENERY.CFG file) than any other layer which may have its own AFD file in it setting different airport values. The most likley culprit is one associated with a Traffic program (MyTrafficX installs its own improved AFD BGLs for defalut airports) or another EGLL add-on.

Okay thanks Pete, I will look at that over the weekend.

I use simwings Heathrow and have never had any problems. So I am very happy. I have UK2000 Newcastle and I think it is very average. But I will prob purchase the Edinburgh, Manchester and Bristol sceneries in the current sale

The UK2000 Xtreme airports could never be described as "average".
