January 31, 201313 yr Coming soon to a computer near you - PMDG Guitar Simulator!!! LOL Matthew Bellette
January 31, 201313 yr I knew the name 'Tabs' from MP.com long before I knew it in terms of PMDG. Actually, I received the ADToE transcription book for my 40th a couple of weeks ago and deliberately looked in the credits to see if Ryan had been involved

February 1, 201313 yr I know, but it ain't as real as what we'd get from PMDG! PMDG Guitar Simulator. Guitar not included. On the flip side, I may or may not have put a crack in my floor from Guitar Hero. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
February 1, 201313 yr Commercial Member Yeah, they have that for the Wii and Playstation 2. It's called Guitar Hero. Funny enough I'm terrible at those games and I think they're nothing like real guitar playing. They're closer to some combination of drumming and keyboard playing really - the keyboardist in the band I was in was super good at it and I was terrible. Actually, I received the ADToE transcription book for my 40th a couple of weeks ago and deliberately looked in the credits to see if Ryan had been involved  Awesome - glad to hear the book made it to the UK! I haven't been on MP.com in a long time actually - I'll occasionally read or post something there still but not as much as I used to. February 4, 201313 yr Is "Guitar Hero" the "MS Flight" of "Guitar Simulation" world? Maybe PMDG should program a guitar sim.... I imagine it would feel something like this: --Peter Fabian
February 4, 201313 yr I have a spectacular PRS 20th anniversary. Can't use it, my fingers don't work any more. ::sniff:: I guess I'll sell it some day. Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules

Never seen a guitar with sixteen strings before.... Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.

February 10, 201313 yr A PRS Custom 24 will be the next guitar I buy - I've wanted one for a long time. Great Choice.
February 11, 201313 yr PRS are real works of art. I remember trying out one at a store, it felt like perfection, so easy to play. Love the ones with the bird inlays! A.J. Domingo
February 12, 201313 yr That is why I love these forums LOL! Anyway, I took up playing the classical about 10 years ago, and although I don't have as much time as I used to, it is still very nice just to pick up the guitar and play a bit. Constant practice is a must though! Nerdy? Well, what can you say - as a classical guitarist I wear slightly longer than usual nails, so it is always wonderfully entertaining to watch people's expressions (those that don't know you of course!) when you extand a hand to greet them and they see the long nails. It is like that MasterCard advert - it is priceless LOL! Kind regards Werner Gillespie CYB2400Proud member of Cyber Air Virtual AirlinesAVSIM Staff Member
February 14, 201313 yr Hopefully, "Tabs" will be too busy to play much guitar this year. Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules
February 16, 201313 yr as a classical guitarist I wear slightly longer than usual nails, so it is always wonderfully entertaining to watch people's expressions (those that don't know you of course!) when you extand a hand to greet them and they see the long nails. It is like that MasterCard advert - it is priceless LOL! Ha ha. I find longer nails more comfortable, but they go against my classical piano playing. Besides the occasional scolding from the piano teacher, awkward glances from classmates remind me to cut them. . . .
