Sugar and cacao (SXM-CCS)

Had a little time to do a quick flight today SXM-CCS in my trusty Tri-Star. Bringing a little sugar to the good people of Caracas while dropping off some tourists back home. Hoping to pick up a nice little load of cacao beans while we are here. ENJOY!

 

YOU....light up my life! Taxiing out with a pretty full load of PAX and cargo.

 

Always love the climb-out and the sharp right after departure here.

 

Can't you just hear that unique engine sound that she has?

Upwind for the approach to runway 10. Clouds look nice too!

 

Fun little approach to Simon Bolivar

 

a little long on the landing...anymore and I would have had to go-around. DON'T want to go long on this runway.....

The angle of that photograph is unique! I didn't realize that SXM is TNCM—I actually know of that departure and the tight turn involved, but just didn't associate it with your screen shot.
