March 10, 201313 yr Do you always take off from the airport you last landed at? By this I mean, if you landed in San Francisco International ; would you take off from there on your next flight? I'm interested in how many people do this. I usually fly all over the place, and sometimes take off from the same airport.
March 10, 201313 yr Yes, almost always. Most of my flying is with FS Economy and since I own my plane, it's location is logged when I land. So my next flight in that plane has to be from that airport. John Hubbard MSFS2020 - Win10
March 10, 201313 yr Almost always. I primarily fly the F1 mustang and even if it is a relocation flight, I try to maintain the continuity. Joe Brown
March 10, 201313 yr GA flying just take off from flying cloud airport to airport in Glencoe to transition out of Minneapolis Airspace B to flyoverland. Do this once a week and do particular when the snow outside my window is light to see winter wonderland.

March 10, 201313 yr Yes, the VA I fly for requires you to depart where you landed. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."

March 10, 201313 yr I always do. I always make schedules for myself for what routes I'm flying for Southwest Airlines, along with the flight routes from flightaware.com. I will 100% always fly the 737 for Southwest, nothing else. Only the Boeing 737-3H4, 737-5H4, 737-7H4, 737-8H4. But yea, I always start from where my last flight terminated. March 10, 201313 yr about 90% of the time. The only times I don't is when VATPAC or my VA have a special event, I always try to do those, even if it means moving half way across the globe. "If you can't solve and equation with calculus, you're not using enough calculus" - A wise friend
March 10, 201313 yr Sort of. I current have a 736 in Calgary, a DC-9 in Sicily, a Legacy in New Plymouth, an MD-11 in Seattle, another DC-9 at Reno/Tahoe. They'll hop from airport to airport. I'll also spread out from airports along the way in smaller planes. And other times I'll just go fly somewhere for a look. Mike Dryden
March 10, 201313 yr Very rarely, i usually just pick a random flight from flightaware and I've enjoyed it  FS2004 Forever
March 10, 201313 yr Yes. I always save after flying an aircraft, so when I return to that particular aircraft (tail number, in some cases not just different make/model) I load up the saved flight, reset the time and depart from that airport. I decided a while ago that if I want to get someplace in FSX I need to fly there, which has forced me to work on many different flying techniques to get certain places. March 10, 201313 yr Hardly ever. Usually not even during one single session of FSX. It may well be that I land somewhere and then decide that I want to do something completely different on the other side of the world. Florian
March 10, 201313 yr I once did a round the World trip, landing and taking off from the same Airport in my home built 737-800. Just for fun worked out the following. I fly most days, lets say 300 flights per year. Each flight I average about 300 miles. Had the Sim now eight years. That's 72000 miles of flying. I'll let you do the maths! Correction above, that's 720,000 miles!! Thought it didn't look right.
March 10, 201313 yr If I am flying the same aircraft, then I don't move it between flights. Although I have different aircraft saved in different locations. .. G Sent from my S3 using Tapatalk. Typing errors expected.... Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
