P3D B737 SWA Nevada One
It was really cool to see what they did was after their 4th quarter record profits, they increased their employees' salary and bunch of other stuff. I'm not sure of the specifics but it was nice to see a company value their employees and treat them the way they should be treated. Just one of the many reasons I hope to fly for them some day!

P3D B737 SWA Nevada One
I know the -500s will be gone by 2016 and they will not be repainted, not worth the cash. I wish they would stay but all things must come to an end. At first I didn't like the new livery but we have to remember it was time to rebrand. This not the same ole domestic Southwest Airlines anymore. Southwest is now an international airline with over 650+ aircraft. It was time to change it up. I'm very pleased with the new livery now. It's very much colorful like canyon blue but has a much more modern feel. Canyon blue was great, I'll miss the southest.com winglets but canyon blue just isn't who Southwest is anymore.

What do you think is the best aircraft addon, from the last 5 years?
The 737 NGX hands down

ASN Waiting for simulator
This one is pretty straight forward. Yesterday ASN worked just fine. Today I start up my sim and ASN just says "Waiting for Simulator." It will not connect to FSX. I have a legal version of FSUIPC and it is running. I didn't change anything with flightsim, no modifications, nothing. Anyone else experience this?

Could a flight simmer take off with a real 737 ?
No idea why everyone is making this seem like rocket science. It's not THAT hard. jeez...

CTD using addon scenery
Just recently FSX started experiencing fatal errors. Strange as it is, I only get them when I load up somewhere I have addon scenery. If I load up at a stock FSX airport, my sim is fine. I experience the CTD about 5 seconds after loading up. If you have any ideas or need more information, please let me know. -Daniel

Southwest's New Livery (Apparently)
Canyon Blue looked so good. This looks like something I painted in kindergarten. If it aint broke dont fix it!
-
Where Is Your 777 Now?
Not on my sim! I only fly the 737 for Southwest Airlines!

Simroutes Down?
That is a nice website, but I get my routes directly from flightaware. I need a place that I can just take a flightplan and make it a .pln file for my NGX.
-
Simroutes Down?
I get it too. They gotta get this fixed. I need my .pln files for my flights on the NGX.

How often do you fly default planes?
I never do. I am a pilot over at Southwest Virtual and only fly the PMDG NGX. I do not fly any other plane on my sim except the NGX for Southwest Airlines. Southwest Airlines grab your bag, it's on!
-
Snapshot: (11th Sept 2013) Which aircraft are you flying most?
The PMDG 737NGX for Southwest Virtual Airlines. The only plane I fly!

Electronic Chart Question
I prefer Jeppesen, I actually hate electronic charts and NACO charts. I know a pilot for FedEx and I have all the Hi/Lo LIDO charts for North and South America. They are just as good as the Jeppesen enrout charts, I just don't like the approach and airport charts LIDO makes. I buy all of my Jeppesen charts on paper. They cost a lot of money! It is worth it though when you are sitting back on FSX looking at all the charts on the yoke, feeling like you are a real pilot for Southwest Airlines. One day that dream will come true, one day...
-
Do you have a goal when you fly?
Hopping in my 737NG, getting out the Jeppesen charts, planing my leg on the Lido En-Route charts, printing out the dispatch and load sheets from Dispatch Planner X, starting her up and contacting ATC, and just the satisfaction of fly the best aircraft ever made, the 737. Just the feeling of doing what I will end up doing in a few years, flying for Southwest Airlines. That is why I fly! B)

POLL: How many of you take off at the same airport you started at?
I always do. I always make schedules for myself for what routes I'm flying for Southwest Airlines, along with the flight routes from flightaware.com. I will 100% always fly the 737 for Southwest, nothing else. Only the Boeing 737-3H4, 737-5H4, 737-7H4, 737-8H4. But yea, I always start from where my last flight terminated.

Reinstalling Windows/FSX
Not quite sure why you are having so much trouble. My FSX works flawless, I haven't had a CTD almost three months. Hope your re-build works! This one looks good: http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx

Interesting airports for NGX in the US
Try KEYW Key West. Southwest flies their 737's in there. It's a small runway, so be ready to slam on the breaks!

first repaint! - 747-300 at . . . . where else? ;)
Sweet plane man! Looks good.
