Ok,ryan just posted on a topic for Flight beams KIAD that he is testing the 777 beta there,so the only question is:How far is beta from release?

I don't usually speculate on a release date issue, I have more to do than time allows in my life rather then wait for something that is out of my control.....  but I can't help myself here.... :)

KIAD is RSR's airport when he worked at UA before becoming a pilot, and tomorrow is Fathers' Day (here in the US at least)...  now if I could just figure out that planetary alignment :)

Thanks, Bruce.

Reread his post. HE said he is flying a large twin engine aircraft at the BETA version of the airport. He didn't say the aircraft was beta although i hope it is.

I checked the Flight beam forum and see no RSR post...link please?

As well, I hope its not still in Beta.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but...

"I may or may not have been conducting test flights in a certain large twin-engine airliner at beta versions of this airport this week"

Nowhere did he mention the 777 being in beta. All he wrote was he used (assumably the 777) airliner at beta versions of the airport

That's a big difference ;)

cheers,

Oh sorry didn't notice. But what do we understand from this post?the 777 is testing so that means that all is complete and going through final checks?

Daniel Jeremy

It must be so close now, perhaps we're looking at dates that has some sort of symmetry (or rather some symbolic numerical aesthetics') :

1. July

10. July

15. July

Provided the Dev team decides not to take any vacation. If so then we're looking at:

1. August

10. August

15. August

This time last year, I was probably sat on this forum, hoping for a September (2012) release.... Sometimes being too optimistic can hurt LOL.
