June 18, 201312 yr Just an update from PMDG would be nice, where there at with the development. We waited to here some news at Fancon but none was really forthcoming. Just seems months go by and still we have no idea. I noticed PMDG is has not responded to any posts in a long time. Yeah, an update would be nice, but I give up. Today (June 18th) is my 50th birthday. I guess I got more important stuff to worry about now. My only gripe is that we were chasing the 777 for over 2 years now - and how many times in the last 2 years did we log on to this forum to get any morsel of info. How often does everyone check this site for an update - every day?? every week? every month?? As the Green Day song goes, "Wake me up when September ends" Paul Gugliotta

As the Green Day song goes, "Wake me up when September ends" Considering the 777 has been in development for less then 2 years, that's a pretty amazing statement. If you're 50 why don't you act your age. AJ Pongress

June 19, 201312 yr (...) If you're 50 why don't you act your age. There's nothing childish in Paul's post. Guess you read it since you quoted it and responded to him. What happened to AVSIM

June 19, 201312 yr Uncalled for. ;-) We await your apology. Apology for what? His is just another post with exaggerated claims of "we've been waiting X number of days/months/years for an update". More then 2 years? We haven't even HIT 2 years for a product that will surpass the NGX in innovation and functionality. There's been a ton if whines in here lately about the length of time PMDG is taking to complete this product. I don't think we've been running after anything, as the original poster I quoted wrote. If you're running after this plane, then you need to find other things to fill your day. I stand by what I wrote. AJ Pongress

June 19, 201312 yr What AJ said may sound harsh but people do complain about updates as if they are owed. Other make exaggerated guesses hoping to get a response from PMDG. Just as they have told us they have a process of the release ( ie: previews and such) and how they don't do unannounced releases, this forum and posters follow a similar pattern with each aircraft. Most of the same whining and protesting could be dug up on the NGX forum (prior to its release). Nobody has paid for the product therefore nobody has the right to anything. Complaining no matter how its worded won't make it come any quicker. No matter how many posters say they are losing interest or wont buy it if it isn't released by xxxx we all know they will be among the first to purchase it. Would a update be nice? Sure but it won't change when we actually get to purchase the product. I check this forum daily for any news. Each time I tell myself to stop checking daily because like boiling water it doesn't boil faster watching it. As someone else posted, they probably don't want to post any updates that aren't significant because this forum loses it mind no matter what the news is. Richie Walsh
June 19, 201312 yr It all goes to blows when Rob stops coming on here lol PMDG have inspired my inner stalker...been checking periodically on when Rob has last logged on...
June 20, 201312 yr If you sell a product thats available to the public then unfortunetly you have to be able to handle all the whining, and complaining. If you you cant then you should get out of the business selling to the everyday consumer. Kacper Nowotynski
