June 16, 201312 yr Commercial Member It must be so close now, perhaps we're looking at dates that has some sort of symmetry (or rather some symbolic numerical aesthetics') : 1. July 10. July 15. July Provided the Dev team decides not to take any vacation. If so then we're looking at: 1. August 10. August 15. August Who's holding the pot? lol - we're not exactly numerology buffs here - we're going to release it when it's done, not according to some arbitrary list of "symmetrical" dates. We certainly are not taking any vacations either - everyone's been working on this product for well over a year straight with no vacation breaks. It'll be several months post-release before anyone does that most likely - everyone has to stick around for the inevitable hotfixing and service packs plus the 300ER addon. Ryan,if you want people to stop asking and driving you NUTS about when is the release date then just tell us in percintage, how far are you to a ready T7(1%-100%)? Daniel Jeremy

Right.... I'm glad they don't give a date. I could only imagine the fury of people of they missed it. It would surely be worse than the current nagging. So what do you gain from this percentage? "It's ready when it's ready. Thank you for patience." (Author: unknown. Developer: unknown. Forum: unknown. FSX addon: unknown.) What happened to AVSIM

(seem the % finished fans stuck on the relationship to the download bar) Look at it this way... come Christmas-time... you know what to ask for! Let me be the first to wish everyone a merry triple seven Christmas!

The team at PMDG decide what they do and what they say about their product ID. Its frustrating for some, but for the majority, not so much(?). Surely those people over on Facebook asking for a release date don't really use their NGX or other PMDG product they purchased 2-5 years ago?! I bought the MD-11 a few weeks after release (a few years ago); I'm still learning things about it today, and thats only because I use my money's worth and learn from the product I bought. My point is...are these people demanding a release date, just demanding it because its "another plane I have in my hangar and I'm just going to fly it once not learn anything about it, and put it away for ever". Or are they really that excited about the T7 that their normal daily lives have come to a complete halt and they need the T7 for it to start-up again, because thats the picture I get when I read some comments people write on FB. IMO: not giving a release date until you're absolutely sure your piece of software is exactly the way you want it, is the norm for such software development companies. If not all. I am currently learning software development myself, and the main point that comes across quite regularly is: "the most important thing about software development is, it takes time". Yes it sure does, and this is probably the main reason PMDG are most likely not giving any release date until they are certain about their latest and greatest.

June 16, 201312 yr Just got off a 777-300 and -200 this week. I got to visit the cockpit - pilot took 5 minutes to show me everything. They use I-pads for their maps. He said the transition from the 767 to the 777 is very easy. I took several photos of the cockpit, but I can't seem to upload them to this post. I was hoping the 777 would be released when by the time I got back - what was I thinking. 777-300 has excellent entertainment system 9" screens with USB inputs seats were 3-4-3. The 777-200 was older with a measly 5" screen and limited cool stuff - seats were 2-5-2. Paul Gugliotta
