Just got off a 777-300 and -200 this week. I got to visit the cockpit - pilot took 5 minutes to show me everything. They use I-pads for their maps. He said the transition from the 767 to the 777 is very easy. I took several photos of the cockpit, but I can't seem to upload them to this post.  I was hoping the 777 would be released when by the time I got back - what was I thinking.  777-300 has excellent entertainment system  9" screens with USB inputs seats were 3-4-3.  The 777-200 was older with a measly 5" screen and limited cool stuff - seats were 2-5-2.

Look at the photo, can we assume the pilot kicked the A/P off at 4,000 ft and hand flew the plane in (A/T set at 136 kts)??  We landed at JFK 31R which is bad for a passenger as you only see ocean.  I was hoping for 13L.

(BTW, I tried to post these photos on a new post with other cool 777 photos I took, but every time the post fails.  Are new posts being locked out for the 777 or am I banned??)

Bingo, he could've disconnected the A/P much higher or lower than that altitude. I wonder if that is aircraft 7AJ, I have a particular fondness for that plane as it carries my initials.

Well, I have reinstalled Fallout 3 again so wake me when we have a release....

Look at the lower left/right of the cockpit right next to the yokes- is it common practice for airlines to keep passenger-issued safety cards in the cockpit as well?

Just an update from PMDG would be nice, where there at with the development. We waited to here some news at Fancon but none was really forthcoming. Just seems months go by and still we have no idea.

They weren't uploaded too long ago...

I'm sure they're working as hard as they can and I'm sure we will see some previews soon enough just find something constructive to do in the mean time

That's what I like about the CS 777: CS forgot to model the automatic probe heat - but there is no probe heat switch on the CS plane either. So what are CS drivers supposed to do with their 777?!?
