Well I just wanted to check as I've never brought any of your products, and I've heard they're pretty damn good. Lol

you hee-ed and haw-ed so much there that I was concerned you would remember to put out your landing gear and flaps...

But yes, we are at a late beta stage... (nearing RC)

there is one major caveat... whilst we do have a start up checklist of sorts, the manual is not yet done...

No manual for me anyways that requires too much hee-ing and haw-ing lol.

Will it work in Prepar3d? And when would it become available?

Absolutely! There are some developers who I wouldn't trust to finish the product after I had bought the Beta but you are most definitely not on that list. So IMHO, yes, release a Beta version and with our feedback you'll get to the finished product that much faster. Go for it!!

might as well release it today......

Actually i'd like beta version and cooperation. When NGX came for the first time, the most of things are corected in service packs becouse of guys from PMDG forums - like incorect pitch on landing for example. And pretty much of that little things which makes NGX so good. Becouse of that, i'd like Beta testing here...

I never tried any of your(Milviz)products, probably becouse i don't like military planes. I like airliners and for some reasons i need 737 clasic now - the sooner the better. This is the only reason why i'd like Beta. I did this once with CS and i don't even visit their website after that experience, and i did it again with BBS Airbus - here is much better, but i'm not sure yet if final product will be for me.

You have a good reputation, and for some reason i thrust you. I hope that 737 will be somewhere in top. Anyway, i wouldn't go for pre - order without Beta.

p.s. where i can find more info about systems, how in - depth will be modeled?

I would hesitate to say this to most of the other guys but for you: YES, do it! I am ready.

I'm going to be a dissenting lone voice and say a big NO !!! I'm an extremely happy owner of the B55 and my experience with Milviz has been nothing but positive. To that end I'd share the trust that most of your customers seem to have that the project a) would be useable on release and b would be followed through to full completion.

I also recognise that in todays 'I want it and i want it now' culture, this approach is likely to appeal to many. I'm simply concerned about what apprears to be something of a growing trend in the hobby regarding releasing unfinished products, and in effect customers paying to become beta testers (I do recognise that the discount seems fair in this instance).

When I see one of the 'trusted' developers going down this route my fear is that it will encourage others to try the same methods, and in some instances, as we have already seen, we may end up with unsatisfactory outcomes.

So, what I would like here is... a yes or no. Yes means... DOOOOO EEEET and No means... well.. .uh.. NO!

No.  IMHO paid beta = bad idea for the producer and for the consumer.

I would buy it in a heartbeart because of beta access. I understand why some are hesitant, but for me personally I would love to get a hands on and help getting rid of bugs. Most betas I've participated in has worked well enough for me to enjoy, and I see problems as long as the product get full attention until release. If Milviz for some reason would "end" development due to high pre-release sales, I think that would be the end of Milviz and I think neither Milviz og its customers would want that.

I say; Bring it on:-)

A valid point, but most of the people saying "yes" are saying yes to this particular developer, not to developers in general. A lot of us have been burnt but it doesn't mean we have to throw the baby out with the bath water. If it is done right there is a real opportunity to both speed up and improve the development process.

Digital aviation was also highly regarded before their f70/100 "the vc will come soon, we promise, go ahead and buy it now"- brain fart a few years back. Way to ruin a reputation...

I'll get milviz's beta if the feature set is already decent, not based on what might be added. There's a fine balance here, not sure where the "beta" line is drawn.

I dont see a problem with that. After all, most products that are supposedly full releases are still unfinished products! Might as well be candidate about it up front, offer a discount and get a good population of testing/proofing. 25% would be abetter number MO.

-How about the 350? :)
