BBS A330 about to release

Featured Replies

Deeply dismayed to see them putting out another aircraft before they've completed the A320 series.  Particularly as the Xtreme versions were promised last year.

I have an awful feeling we'll be seeing the A340 and A380 Prologue versions on short finals before the A320 ever gets to V.1

It;s only April, and remember that January of this year they were on 0.54, now they're on 0.75. They're going at a pretty good pace.

Yeah, for now that's the only way.

Sorry have to clarify. Shouldve typed APU in place of GPU. I dont get Ground power avail light or anything. So always have to fire up the APU

I find you have to set the parking brake to get the GPU light to show that it's available.

Ohh yeah your right. Was setting parking brake later in my flows due to chalks. LOL thanks!

Hi

Do they provide a full 2D panel, I cannot see any screenshots own there website, plus when you email them, they don't have the courtesy of replying.

Thanks

I wish that would happen, we already have Aerosoft A320 Extended and soon FSLabs A320 which will be just awesome, thus I don't honestly much care for BBS A32x series although I do own it.

Maybe I will add A318/A319 to my fleet at some point, for now all I want is decent collection that includes A330/A340/A380.

Yes, it has a 2D panel. You can chose a standard version or wide screen to install. Most of their communication (if not all), is done on their Face Book site.

Looks like they're working on new VC textures.

I hope there is some sort of fuel and payload loading planner in the works very soon. The FSX one is really lame.

I dont see it mentioned anywhere, and there is barely any interaction on the BBS support site in response to questions.

Ask on their Facebook page, they respond pretty quickly over there.

Ugh Facebook.

Anyone have any insight why my flight has become roller coaster airways?  Near TOD and push managed mode and I get an initial descent rate of 7000FPM. The pax puke was flying everywhere. Disgusting.

Not a airbus guy, But I thought this managed altitude pushing in is essence VNAV but I dont know why it would come up with 7k/min

You had entered an arrival runway and filled the Approach Perf page in?

Expect wacky results otherwise.

Well, were you flying much faster than the managed speed? The plane will use pitch to adjust speed, if you were flying much faster than managed speed then the plane would pitch up a lot to reduce the airspeed slower than managed speed then the plane would pitch down a lot to increase the airspeed

EDIT: misread, thought you were talking about climb rather than descent
