Recommended Posts

Looks amazing! Why all the negative comments?

We're all just having a bad day, it's not the product at all

I fly only the LDS 767 and I must admit there is none better from a systems standpoint. This thing is a joke about a new 767. Everything about this thing is so below acceptable quality. I hope this is just a joke, not even close to the quality of the LDS 767

Problem with the LDS 763 though is that the grafix are so dated now as to be virtually unusable for me, my suspension of disbelief no longer functions with that jet.

No mention of accurate systems modelling likely means there aint none.

So, lite weight fair of no account.

I was being sarcastic.

Wouldn't waste my money on this...

True but things are going to change this year ;-)

Yeah a new 767 is coming just after the 757. I hope the graphics beat 512x512 resolution this time :(

I've never heard of HD Airplanes and the addon looks suspect at best.

It looks like the dev (if you want to call them that) combined the Level D and CS 767's and rolled it into one package and they've provided screenshots of their product in very low res and low AA settings (if any) and they are touting that the textures are in 2048x2048 resolution.  The overview is similar to CS's 767 product page.

HD Airplanes:

Key Features:

  • Unparalleled visual quality and realism
  • Designed according to FSX standards
  • DirectX 9/10 compatible

Captain Sim:

• Key Features:

• Unparalleled visual quality and realism
• Designed according to FSX standards
• DirectX 9/10 compatible

HD Airplanes:

Exterior:

  • highly detailed and accurate Boeing 767-200ER & 300ER Models (including GE, PW and RR variants) with and without winglets
  • High resolution textures of 10 Liveries
  • Hundreds of Custom Animations
  • dynamic Wing Flex
  • Winglets

Captain SIm:

Exterior:
• Five highly detailed and accurate Boeing 767-300ER Models (including GE, PW and RR variants)
• High resolution textures of 14 Liveries
• Hundreds of Custom Animations
• Animation Control Panel
• Stewardess model (various airline uniforms)
• Wing Flex
• Wing Vortices
• Winglets
• Custom Self-shade
• Custom Views

I hate to knock a new developer but one should try to be a little more original when marketing a new product.
