April 28, 201313 yr I'l just skip the tests and go straight to my first revenue flight (probably ORD-DFW) but I'll probably spend 15 minutes in the cockpit tinkering with EZ dock and the equipment list. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
April 28, 201313 yr I will make a few test flights around KPAE and then refuel for the delivery flight to EHAM. Other than with the NGX this time I can make it non-stop.... Menno Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
April 28, 201313 yr I'll stare at it for about 10 minutes without blinking, takeoff with no payload and almost no fuel to see what the baby can do! Probably after do a flight from YBBN-YSSY or something to test frames with ORBX and see how she performs. i7 6700k, GTX 1070 (MSI), 16GB Ram DDR4 Asus Maximus VIII Hero, Corsair H100i v2 - Alex Farmer Goldstar Textures - www.facebook.com/goldstartextures
April 28, 201313 yr Day 1: offline Cold-Dark startup at Orbx YMML. Taxi without anything in the FMS, 1 Circuit all handflown, return to gate, shut down to APU running/Gens on, then fuel for a quick flight to Sydney (offline) conducted in LNAV/VNAV with SID/STAR/Airway etc (Being a Boeing FMS it probably won't take me hours to figure out how to program the FMS). Day 2: Return the aircraft to YMML online with Vatsim (middle of a weekday with no ATC and not much traffic) Day 3: Unleash it on a 2 or 3 hour run to New Zealand. Week 2: make videos of flying it on Vatsim. Week X: Unleash it on Vatsim Cross the Pond and make a huge video of it. April 28, 201313 yr Session 1: General systems check from cold and dark, with ground power connected, and just know how to navigate around. Spool up the engines to enjoy that GE-110B sound. Session 2: Being comfortable with all the systems necessary to operate a normal flight I'll take her for an easy ride for a circuit around a test airfield. a few touch 'n' go's with auto-land tests, few stall and recovery tests, sharp banks and tight turns. then finally a manual landing. Session 3: This one will be rough. Taxi out and take off from the test airport, after flaps up, AP is available, circle to land and attempt to land manually, then a go-around. then an engine failure, the AP is available. Circle again to perform an emergency landing with 1 engine, AP disconnected once established. Manual approach then another go-around with 1 engine. after flaps are up and configuration is clean, AP is available again. Finally land and see how the 777 will steer with one massive engine only. Then I'm ready to take her for the procrastination of a long cruize on a CYYZ-VHHH polar route. Ahmed Abdessalam "That which means you can't, doesn't mean you ain't. April 28, 201313 yr @Luke Bennett 777X for Xplane? Maybe in 20 years lol Haha I read that back and thought it was misleading:) I meant the project PMDG are working on for X Plane 10 at the moment. They're planning a conversion. I expect if it goes well we'll see the 777 ported over though. (and by expect I mean hope).
