Rob said it was weeks away. He wouldn't say that if it was in fact 6+ months away. A bug that comes up that takes 6+ months to fix? I doubt that.

Weeks away doesn't have to mean three weeks or even four, it can be between 5 to 2,000 weeks. ^_^

I can feel we're in touching distance....

I wont wait that long:  I will switch to that "other" flight sim  in that time and get the "other" 777.

Im with you mate, one less plane that PMDG wont get my money for. They have a release date, they are just not willing to share it with us.

No, of course not. They have no interest in selling us anything or making money.

They enjoy sitting on a finished product while they lose money daily for company overhead.

.....sometimes what some of you guys post is downright ridiculous.

Maybe i should of been more clear.. Im whining about their stupid silent release policy. Im not going to explain why I dont agree with it. But I dont, they have their reasons, I have mine. But they mazke it seem so close then you dont hear anything for a month. Sucks to be us

What silent release?

They have said numerous times the release will be publicized well in advance.

They have shared screenshots of both interior and exterior.

Everything you said is basically hot whiney air that has no factual legs to stand on.

Don't worry, you'll get your toy soon enough and buy it like the rest of us!

I'm just as frustrated - but you have to try and put yourself in PMDG's shoes. Go read this again: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/407135-05may13-release-dates-on-the-777-and-our-silence-on-same/

They'll update us when they're ready, not when we want/demand! I doubt we won't hear anything this month. The silence that's currently happening is supposedly good according to other members..

At this point, absolutely bound to happen.  ;-)

Silent release policy? Do you mean them not giving a release date? If so, it's because it isn't done. They don't pick a date and then release what they have. Other developers do it, in fact one purposely does it. Other than that I have no idea what you mean. They announce it before it's released.

Off you go then!!

Bye Bye

You will be the first one to buy cause you cant resist

Grow up - go outside

To be honest, I think we're going to get an announcement of release sometime in July, and the actual release sometime between late July and early September. Just my two cents.

Gta 5 isnt completed, rockstar still gives a release date. If it needs to be delayed then they will delay it again. People will whine for a week and move on. At least they know when to expect it. The other strategy works much better. Just saying..
