July 4, 201312 yr For some reason anytime I enter Paris airport it crashes my xplane. I am using osm Europe with autogen, perhaps that's why? Way too many buildings? Should I try the osm version only? I have a fairly capable machine, 16gb ram, win 7 64 bit, gtx 680 4gb so I don't think my setup is to blame. Also what happened to all the photo scenery downloads on simheaven? It's not there anymore. Will there be updated photo scenery for Hong Kong area? Because last time I downloaded it, the colors were awful, it had a tint of blue and were extremely washed out and the quality just wasn't there. I'm hoping to see updates. Because some of the areas are pretty nice like Houston, Dallas, etc. but others like Japan, Hong Kong, and hawaii were really bad. Had the same problem, and switching to osm only didn't relieve it much.It is possible to run Paris, but it's 64-bit only I'm afraid, 32-bit XP10 will just keel over and die. You'll also have to turn down the number of objects until the slideshow becomes usable. Once you're clear of the French capital you can bump the rendering settings back up to normal. :-)
July 9, 201312 yr Good news! Benny sent me an updated version, it seems it works quite good, so I started to process new osm sceneries and first of them are already online! Only for Europe there will be 2 versions: osm+only and osm+autogen, all other continents have the osm+autogen, as the overall osm data is poor. Following changes are made to the previous version March 2013: 1. OSM data by geofabrik.de dated July 2013 2. Multipolygons are processed, that means missing buildings and forests are now included. 3. Buildings and forests can have inner yards if they are made of relations in osm. 4. smart exclusions avoid penetration of osm and autogen objects 5. more 3D buildings, more tags are processed. 6. Included new facade set by Pascal Lachat Have fun using the sceneries!

July 10, 201312 yr Just to make sure, osm + only leaves out default buildings? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
July 10, 201312 yr Just to make sure, osm + only leaves out default buildings? It turns off the Autogen buildings. Main Reason: The resource consumption. of the new OSM+Autogen is SEVERE! Karsten Schubert
July 10, 201312 yr And do we just delete the old scenery folder and put in the new in the custom scenery folder? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
July 10, 201312 yr What about North America and Asia, will those regions also be updated? Thanks. Sure, those regions will be updated, also Australia, just processing North America. And do we just delete the old scenery folder and put in the new in the custom scenery folder? Yes, and please regard the priority of Osm sceneries in the scenery_packs.ini as written in the readme file.
July 10, 201312 yr Also I take it that the likes of Finland OSM is redundant with your new Europe series ?? Thanks for your hard work. Trevor Golding
July 11, 201312 yr North-America is online! The size has doubled due to more osm data and multipolys. For a test of your graphic card try Boston or Chicago, these are cities with quite good osm data, almos European standard.
July 11, 201312 yr Great work!!! I tried the EuropeOSM last night and it was amazing! Can't wait to get home and download NA. Rob
