This is just my personal opinion. I think that the B777 for FSX is ready for immediate release but PMDG is busy coding the installation package with security items to prevent against piracy. Would be interesting to see what PMDG promised previously that once the B777 for FSX comes out, the next generation B747-400 v2.0 for FSX will follow in less than 2 months. Maybe that is another reason why they are holding back the release of the B777.

 

Why don't we stop with the useless speculation and focus on the issue at hand?

 

 

Even on release some of the same people will whine about the aircraft when it's something as simple as reading the manual.

 

Knowing who some of these folks are, I would suggest that PMDG not sell them the T7. That would be justified, I think.

 

 

I just don't get it. Maybe Tom and the others need to start handling the forums with a iron fist till this stops.

 

How about you help us by reporting posts that are over the top, "entitled", spoilers, and combative? That way we CAN weed out the ones that don't need to be here ruining it for everyone else.

Sorry on behalf of everyone here to PMDG... Keep up the good work guys, were all eager to get the T7 but this all went too far.. 

Probably > 50% of those 30 aren't even people who would pay for it anyways.....just my opinion....

I am utterly disappointed that some inmature individuals, have the nerve to shoot down PMDG. After all the time and sleepless nights the PMDG staff has spent perfecting the 777 for THEM! I have lost all respect for people nowadays.

 

Furthermore, they have ruined it for people like me who didn't even get a chance to read the post.

 

I salute PMDG for taking the harsh words. I also commend them for going ahead with the relaease. Wouldn't be surprised if they canceled the project. But what good would that be? They've already almost finished it. And for the people who don't appreciate PMDG's hard work,they'll buy the product. And realize the wait was worth it, like it always has been and will be.

 

Thank you PMDG for all your hard work and effort. I for one and I'm sure many others appreciate you.

To be clear here - the majority of the really offensive crap was on the Facebook version of the post. There were a couple here, but not as bad as the FB stuff was. I was about to leave for a party and didn't have the ability to sit and mod the posts for this junk, so I took them down. I also didn't want to inconvenience the normal Avsim mods with it either.

Well, as a former US military officer myself, I would tell the idiots who defaced PMDG's Facebook page--merely as a means of spewing anti-American rhetoric--the same thing I would tell anyone who feels empowered in hiding behind an IP address to fight for his cause: Shut up, coward.

 

Edit: And then I'm reminded that these people are juvenile delinquents, who (when not hacking and stretching their infantile intellectual legs) are busy trying to figure out how to make real friends. We should all feel sorry for them.

I don't understand this worldwide tendency to punish the masses for the misdeeds of a few.  You should know going in that you have to deal with a few miscreants.  Deal with them, get rid of them, and go about your business.  They are mostly children in age or personality.  Give them no quarter.  No need to take your ball and go home.  These people are not the flight sim community and there is no need to lose respect for those of us who are.

Pathetic. No body should be shown disrespect and to have it done to such a prominent leader of the flight sim community is lower than dirt. Certainly no incentive to give updates and these people ruin it for the rest of us and for the tremendous work that the PMDG team does.
