It's because I was completely zoomed out  ^_^

Out of curiosity: how do you manage to produce high quality images, is your FSX as high in quality as the pictures display, and how do you achieve such quality in FSX?

Tremendous screens Luke! BTW why isn't the nose visible from the cockpit? The NGX has it.

Any news on the telephone thing near the rudder trim in the 777F?

That's for someone from the development team to answer. Yet to get in the Freighter- sorry! Promise tomorrow  :P

I print screen and put it into photoshop at 1920x1080 (my monitor res) then save as PNG  ^_^

This is one of the angles I wanted to see.

Really nice!

By the way... all of you guys that are beta testing the 777 and posting pictures and videos... thank you. You all -- and PMDG folks, obviously -- made my last two days much more happier than I expected!

Thats one thing that annoys me with FSX. However hard you try, you still can't achieve your native monitor resolution. Thanks to Ryan's NVIDIA card tweak I have much better quality than before, but jaggies are still present. Ah well, you get used to it...

I'd love to see a jump seat view Luke...

Every screenshot I'm amazed at the clearness and sharpness of both the VC and the exterior model.

You seem to be running LOD_radius at >= 18.5 :)

Glad you got into beta!

Luke,

Out of curiosity, how much sleep (if any) have you had since you started beta testing. I can just imagine a truck full of coffee or Mountain Dew parked in your driveway.  :Hypnotized:

This looks amazing!!

Could it be that my longhaul aircraft of choice for nearly 3 years, the PMDG MD11, is about to get some much deserved R&R? Based on the comments, pics, and videos of the 777 that I've seen thus far it's looking like a high probability.

Amazing pictures, Luke; I can't wait until I have this in my hands.

If you fly from a 1.0 zoom view and move your eyepoint backwards so that you can see the instruments, the displays, in the NGX at least, loose any trace of the jaggies (plus you get a more realistic depiction of the outside world, too).

I have just tweaked FSX and don't see any jaggies at all, even with zoom set out to 0.30 in which I use. All is good now.

Climbing FL360... making progress! Check out the Altn Airport feature on the ND  ^_^

I'll get one from the jump seat too - standby.

Oh, and I finished a flight last night at 0230 local - woke up at 0700 thinking about the 777 LOL. But I passed out again until 1000  :P

On the landing lights, I saw in a preview video that they all flick on at once. Is that an invisible clickspot like the bar on the NGX, or do they all go on at once? Also, about the TOGA switch, is there a similar feature to the NGX or do you use the Throttle's TOGA switch?
