August 24, 201312 yr This year marks 25 years since the F-15E Strike Eagle entered USAF service. As a tribute, here's a few shots of the excellent Milviz F-15E in the skies over Mountain Home AFB as seen in MegaScenery Earth 2 Idaho. Nick
August 24, 201312 yr Very pics, thanx. As a side note, I have not purchased this since it is not going to be compatable with the VRS tacPack and therefore is useless as a combat simulated jet.
August 24, 201312 yr Commercial Member Uh.. Who said it won't be compatible with TP? It will be as we did say it would be. So, you're misinformed. And just so you're not misinformed any more, you're also wrong about it's capabilities. it is the ONLY product on the market TODAY (and was the first) that is, standalone, capable of shooting down not only AI aircraft but also shooting down your buddies (or enemies) in MP. And that's using a large variety of weapons... (and the bombs work too...) Tacpack is required (and costs extra) to do so for the Bug. So... Not sure exactly what you're on about but... to me it sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. August 25, 201312 yr This brings back memories. I was stationed at Mountain Home AFB in 1971. I was an instrument-autopilot technician on what was then one of the newer and most sophisticated fighter/bomber in the Air Force inventory .... the swing-wing F-111B. My wife and I recently drove through Mountain Home on our way to Seattle, and, whoa, I didn't recognize the place. Of course, so much had changed in 30 years. Thanks so much for the flash from the past.
August 25, 201312 yr I was a mechanic on the B-47 at Mt Home. It was a SAC base then. I flew out of the local airport and took the private test in BOI. This was just yesterday-well a while back.1958. I love those mountains. Ralph
August 25, 201312 yr Who said it won't be compatible with TP? It will be as we did say it would be. So, you're misinformed. The PC Pilot review said so. But if this is not correct I will head over to your website and investigate. CHeers.
August 25, 201312 yr Commercial Member The review is incorrect in many ways. The aircraft has the full SP included, works 90% like the real one and, is, as I said, still, the only product on the market (or not) that does full weapons tracking, and shoot downs as a standalone. The ONLY one. Sorry for the total lack of modesty here but we've been slagged and rumor-monged on this one so much that I can barely tolerate talking about it.. I suggest you try it and see.. August 26, 201312 yr I suggest you try it and see.. Is there a demo version? Else Im afraid money is too tight to gamble. Cheers.
August 26, 201312 yr I have the MilViz F-15E Strike Eagle and all I can say it is one bad adversary. I'm glad they are on our side (and hopefully we've sold only a limited number of them to our enemies). Highly recommended. Don't know much about the bug, but I really like the MilViz version. Great shots ER. Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules
