I am getting 6 now, but the NGX was approx 15-20...

I use MSE and I have no performance problems.

Well, I've made 1 hours of setting this afternoon, that's what I found. First of all I've read the introduction PDF and I have all the fix to FSX.cfg applied.

 

- I've resized Virtual Cockpit textures from 1048 size to 512 with Photoshop and DDS Plugin. This helped a lot and increase my framerate about 6 or 7 value. I've checked, i've done manually what NGX do with the configuration choosing virtual cockpit textures. Low quality (that they are not low  ) switched the VC from 1048 to 512 px. 

 

I've observed this thing. During Taxi or sometimes (not always) during the flight, the framerate from 30 goes down to value 19/20 for about 6/10 seconds, and after return to 30 (my value with external locked). I think that there is something, in the virtual cockpit that slow down the frame, but to my mind, is something independent from me!  ^_^

 

Someone else noted that or something similar? My pc specification are described under my avatar, and the processor is overclocked to 3.70 GHz (i've not this ""problem"" with PMDG NGX Airplane)  B)

 

I'd like to say that the value 19/20 is different from 30, but there isn't a frame that compromise the fluidity of the simulation, it would be great knowing why this occurs!

Disabling MSE: no difference

Disabling AA in Inspector, no difference.

 

 

 

Has anyone tried disabling RAAS?

 

Just in case that's the performance drain.

 

Can't try myself, not on my simming rig, someone else using it.

worse than ngx.. by 2-3 frames

How can i disable the RAAS in the T7, I could give a try   :ph34r:

 

It sound possible, RAAS made some calculation for runway and the frame goes down  <_<  <_<

I think Pmdg should come up with a performance tool like in the ngx...

I will try disabling RAAS.

So far it seems that people with good systems are reporting a relative decrease in performance, in people with bad systems reporting a relative increase.

Ok i'd like to try, how I can disable?

 

I can't find the FMC voice or something similar!  :lol:

 

EDIT: I've found it! In the PMDG Operation Center in every single livery, I'll try to disable it! Thank for your help!

Not better tan the NGX, in my case. On the ground , the performance is regular (some micro pauses during take-off roll). Also, on landing there´s an annoying micro stutter at touchdown....

This is exactly my case. Especialy microstutter on Touchdown is pretty annoying.

Frames overall are a bit less than the NGX.

That's my case too, i think this is somehow sounds related - i had this before, stutter on sound initialisation, touchdown sound in this case... Strange, but with FSX, impossible is nothing! :lol: 

 

Now, this may be not PMDG related thing...  I googled about the problem and i found a lot of posible issues and solutions, i'm trying to fix it. It may be system related, driver etc...

I have slightly more than the NGX. On ground 35-ish and flying over 50. I don't really care about framerate as long as it's smooth, and it's smooth unless i fly with an F-14 over Brisbane or Melbourne with all ORBX addons installed
