Please PMDG: 757-200!

Featured Replies

These are such beautiful exterior designs.  They've got amazing climb power, short runway TO, and we just don't have  a superb PMDG version to do the real world version justice.  It's a plane that is coveted in many government, military & private circles.  Please do give it some serious consideration to balance out the other offerings which are pretty top heavy.

T7 is just plane fabulous--thanks!

Aircraft used in MSFS 2024:  Fenix A320,  Aerosoft CRJ, FBW, WT 787X, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, Citation Longitude.

My advice: Enjoy the T7 and wait to see what their next project is.

Am I supposed to put my overly priced and powered computer specs here? Sorry, I must have no tolerance for idiots who do that.

So when's the PMDG 777x gonna' be released?

Sorry you got your hopes up..But hey..Look on the bright side...It's not for FSX..

Don't worry! Level D are working on a 757. The anticipated release is scheduled sometime in the next decade.

While I agree that I'd like a 757, I'm getting kinda tired of these request posts.  It's not like they don't know what they're going to do next...

Really, request threads should start getting locked. PMDG already has a schedule of aircraft and we need to let them build them; their business model of keeping new projects a secret works.

How do you know this, and what's more, how can you be so specific about this release date to narrow it down so tight ? you must have some inside information?

Well, at least, despite your tire, PMDG now knows yet another user would like a 757 ;o)

haha - not trying to take shots at you, really.  It's well known that people want a 757, actually.

I tried both the CS and QW version of the 757. Neither one is in the league of PMDG. They are no longer installed in FSX. Their installers are collecting dust on an external hard drive. So +1 for a PMDG 757.

And i want a Ferrari 458.....

Sorry but i get kind of tired of all those "i want this" and "PMDG must do that...."-threads. I think they know very well what aircraft they want to to next and don't need customer advice. And if not they would just ask us......

PMDG is currently developing the 747 V2.0, which is a new and completely redesigned version of the current 747. Before or after full 747 development starts, they have the 777 and 737 expansion packs to make and release. After the expansion packs are released, they have the DC-6 to develop and release. After THAT, they have the Dash 8 which seems to be very low priority as of right now and might be cancelled.

By the time PMDG would get around to making a 757 or any other Boeing jetliner apart from the new 747, they might have moved over to a new platform given that FSX is getting quite long in the tooth.

Thanks,

Kevin L

I recall they have several teams working on different products at the same time

Just seeing them together "PMDG" and "757" made me shiver! It would be incredible to see them do this plane. But... Level D dibsed it!
