I saw a glimpse of this on a news bulletin earlier today and had to do a bit of searching on the internet for more footage which I eventually found at NBC news

Link direct to story (which may not work)

On the weekend two skydiving planes collided, one of them had the left wing torn off and when it did the fuel exploded into a fireball. The footage is taken from cameras attached to various skydivers who were still in the planes and you can clearly see one of the planes tumbling from the sky, wingless.

Somehow, all skydivers managed to survive the collision and land safely and the pilot of the wingless aircraft managed to escape as well using his emergency parachute. The other plane managed to land safely.

Very cool.  I'll bet they had to go straight and wash their jump suits after that.

It was really lucky the pilot had a parachute and the other plane received minimal damage. I have never skydived and never will willingly.

This seems as unreal as that movie Gravity.......But it really did happen.

Very glad each and everyone of them has walked away to live and tell their stories. What a life experience.

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Really amazing video, but I have to wonder what the pilot of the lower aircraft was thinking.  If they both went up together how could they lose visual contact with one another.
