March 4, 201412 yr You can kind of walk by pressing 'C' and using the arrow and , (comma) and . (period) keys to navigate. Use the shift key to give extra speed.

Yep, pressing C will free the camera, and you can move it where ever as described. I used the period or comma (can't remember which) to move forward and the mouse to look/steer.
