The fact that folks get all bent out of shape because someone disliked their post blows my mind.  You should really not go out in the world if your skin is that thin. Heck, even certain people who run this site have skin that thin. It's really quite sad.

I've gone to mostly rating because too many cowards talk a big talk on these forums and I always reply exactly as I would standing right in front of you. The Problem is that the moderators favor the 5+ star, screenshot takers who have 10,000 posts and they can say whatever they wish, but when I reply my post gets deleted and there is not even 1 cuss word. When the truth comes out, these days it gets suppressed.

So not true Paul - not even close no favorites here at Avsim - you can tossed 10,000 posts or not

That's why I never hit the dislike button on youtube even though I have watched thousands of video. When I dislike a video, I comment and say why, If I cannot, I just move on.

So we avoid the dislike button and get the sparkling repartee for which YouTube is known for instead..........

Not at all. Just another disgruntled simmer who thinks they are entitled to disabuse their access to AVSIM. We see all too many of these.

"Disabuse" means exactly the same thing - on both sides of the fence. It does not mean he is a disgruntled simmer.

 

As a business owner, I understand how it grates (especially when I firmly believe that I am in the right), BUT, I also know that everybody is entitled to a different opinion. And surely this is what this thread was all about? The ability to dislike a comment?.
