I don't say this often, but LOL

:D I was originally gonna say rockers that rock... but then I realized that rocker switches are typical for BAe and I couldn't think of a single one in the 737 cockpit...

Obviously I'm proud of everything we've done, but If I have to pick one for a desert island, it's the NGX. It was the first airplane here that I was really seriously involved in the development of and it sort of represented a big milestone in a bunch of different ways both for me personally and for the company.

As far as sheer aircraft performance, love the 777LR.  I can get it out of Orbx's KMRY at MGTOW, fly half way around the world, and land at another ~7500' runway...this is awesome.  My only wish is that the folding wing option were available.  I know no airlines ordered that feature, but as a 'virtual' zillionaire going around the world in my 777-BBJ, I would have ordered folding wings...I'll just pretend instead LOL.  Along with airstairs out of the baggage compartment ala Air Force One

For overall fun and feel, I know the DC-6 will be a favorite.

But seriously, NGX with FS2crew is nearly perfect as well!

If you're a driver, you'll understand where I'm coming from with this analogy. I liken the NGX to a BMW and the 777 to a Mercedes. The NGX is fun to fly, totally hands on and exhilarating once you master it, the ultimate flying machine.

The 777 on the other hand, feels like you're floating effortlessly with barely a need for you to be present. The 777 is majestic and commands you to look at her when she flies past you.

NGX all the way, but that doesn't mean I don't love the 777 as well, just a different kind of love.

The whole B777 package is my number 1, followed by the MD-11. But since the B777 was released and the -300ER comming along I don't see myself flying another plane ever :)

Interesting to see the NGX winning - yet all the effort is being put into the 777. A nice patch for the NGX to fix a few issues and add in some of the newer features - would make it a dream. Also a option to have a different seat config(yes I know weight is weight)

What would make them all better is finally getting round to adding proper RNP capabilities and the navdata sets to go with it - this is a serious must now with the world rapidly moving to these types of approaches, SIDS and stars otherwise soon we will struggle to sim what is going on in the real world(well at least modern Europe)

I notice also the amount of people talking about the 747 - seems to me again once v2 of that's released that the 777 will fall into 3rd place with the NGX and 747 fighting it out for first place.

I think a sp for the js41 would also bring it up he league a bit more - the FMC needs some serious work to add in it's missing real life functionality such as holds etc.

The nearly year of patching the 777 is hopefully not lost as the capabilities PMDG will have gained will hopefully be put quickly into the more popular planes - but does seem a shame that it's held up actually what people want - NGX sp, 747 and js41 - oh and md11 modernisation

The key thing to me is SDK - being able to use fs2crew and my iPad to control the NGX FMC adds a whole new level to the sim - the 777 still lacks that - PMDG shouldn't make any further releases without an SDK as standard on release

NGX.

Had it from day one and love every single flight I have in it :friends:

NGX is my favorite . But when the 747v2 is out I'm nog so sure anymore.

Well that was tough.....I spent a while before I chose NGX......Because statistically it's the most plane I flew for FSX....However, the beauty about PMDG products is that,  if you want to fly more to high tech side it has be T7 with unmatched features....... If you are seeking a challenge you will select MD-11 with it's sweet complexity...... While if you want to fly retro JS41 is the best possibly ever...... Eventually, if you want something in between all and most advanced -simulation wise- it's the NGX....... A milestone for FSX planes.......I really hate to imagine What would flight simulation be without PMDG ?.....Thank you guys.

from the outside the 747 and from the cockpit its the 777 :)

The Boeing 747. It's the only one of those I own and it is a fantastic aircraft to fly. I'm looking into purchasing the 777-200LR this summer depending on finances, so I'd imagine my choice would change.

Also a option to have a different seat config(yes I know weight is weight)

I believe there are already a couple of options available for this.
