Hi, looking to buy some addons. What do you guys recommend and what do you think is best? I have a budget of around £20-30.

What kind of add ons are you interested in?  Scenery, airport, aircraft?

Unless you A: Use TrackIR or B: have a cockpit built, Active Camera is probably the single addon MOST worth your money, IMHO.

There are many, many choices available out there in payware land.  If you could just be a little bit more specific we would be glad to provide appropriate, and targeted, recommendations.

Thank you for your suggestions so far. I will definitely take them in to consideration. My preference is more modern things so mainly civil jets, however I know there are some good modern GA addons out there so also these too.

The aforementioned iFly Boeing 737 series is probably at the top of the heap right now.  Also warmly recommended is the QualityWings Ultimate 146 Collection (BAe146 and Avro RJ series.)  Both available through Flight 1.

 

Good value is the Feelthere E Jets - Embraer 175 and 195, often on sale from Feelthere themselves and all third party resellers.

 

Can't forget the PMDG MD11 tri-jet.  An excellent wide body aircraft coming with cargo variant as well.

 

Also LH's Fly the Maddog (MD88) if you prefer an older rear-engined commuter.

 

For GA/Executive jets try Eaglesoft, Just Flight, Lionheart, FSD.

 

Plenty of other worthies too if the above don't appeal.

If you like complexity, save a little more for the PMDG MD-11.
