I like this program. Does what it says it will do. I run DX10. it seems like my VAS is lower. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

 

And for some reason accelerator adjustment slider is stuck to 11 so i can't adjust it? No-go for this one now....

This happens if you have FSX set to unlimited frames when the utility is started. (I did the same thing!) You need to lock frames in FSX before starting the Accelerator utility.  Then you can make adjustments up to the locked frame. My initial results were not good for frames, but when I turned VSYNC off, and the Frame limiter in NI off, then I was able to see the benefit of the extra frames, but it also caused very blurry textures, which I didn't have before. That though is probably because I have a weak system. So for me right now it's not for me!! Thanks though to the developers, for resetting the demo time yet again, so I could test it with the VSYNC off which was suggested by a user here.

I had those frames limited by internal fsx frame limiter before i even started the fiber accelator,but lets test again

I have the same symptoms you indicated.
For example:
(I have always locked my FPS to 30 from FSX)

KJFK

No FSxFA
15 FPS

with FSxFA
(Setting low 18FPS)

16 to 18 FPS

If I go with these same settings to an airport I always have 30 FPS, the following happens:

with FSxFA

18 to 20 FPS.

This is not good, but a little improvement in KJFK, I MROC low FPS in the minimum position in the FSxFA.

In this forum I saw a recommendation to place the FSX and FSxFA setting equal to 30 FPS. These were my results with FSxFA:

KJFK

25 to 29 FPS

in MROC

from 29 to 30 FPS

This is great, but not if this setting to place the same FSX and FSxFA to 30 FPS (Equals) is good or not.

I must say that I have a NV GTX 780, 3 monitors with 1900 x 1080 (5700 x 1080). And FSxFA licensed.

Tried the demo and it did increase my FPS by abit. I say a max of 4-5. It is a little boost and nothing more. Looks promising but I am not sure I should spend my money on it yet. The increase it a bit Small for the price.

Most guys would spent hundreds on new hardware just to have a higher lowest framerate that is 4-5 fps higher....

Cheaper than this you can't get it.

 

In general : if one has set the FSX settings that high that your pc is already chokiing , than there is not that much "room" for improvement.

 

And again : do not use an external limiter , don' set the internal framerate to Unlimited and don't use the refreshrate tweak with it.

As a no greece customers with a valid VAT number I want to buy without the greece VAT. How do I do this? I do not see any option in the FSPS shop.

Boost does work and says what is promising. Which was surprise because I first though it was just typical marketing stunt. But then I tested on flytampa dubai, default KJFK, flytampa Kai Tak... And boost generally was 4-6 fps which is actually very good because it made my flight a lot smoother from frames such as 16-18 fps.

 

For me as I fly classic aircraft handflying is very important hence I do not load my simulator with graphic junk improvements or extremely heavy weather programs/HD clouds textures. So in theory the FSPS accelerator helps greatly and is very recommended!

Do you folks see the same?

Yes, I have seen similar and it seems to be the designed way.

 

When your system can't keep up, Fiber Accelerator forces the frame limiter to unlimited mode.

I already bought my license, but I have a question for BD - FSPS from other people on another sim forum who are currently using the demo version and considering the purchase.
Does FA work in a networked configuration (for example simconnect or WideFS)?

Oh man I blew it with the demo. Installed 1.1 and now there is no more option for a demo just a screen to enter my license.  I had only used the old version 1.0 once for about 30 minutes.  Any way to get back 5 new tries?
