Could anyone tell me if this will work using my cellphone as a hotspot instead of a wireless router to create my network. Reason I ask is, I use an Alienware gaming laptop away from my home system for FS and then use my cell as a hotspot to get online with ASN...etc.  I would not be using the cellphone to run the app itself, it would be installed on my Nexus tablet.  Thanks for any help,

I think there is a setting which monitors connection drops and reconnects

I'm going to buy the AXE A320 version soon

Curious to know if this will work as good as the PMDG's do.  Has anyone used the Airbus version yet?

I'll "BUMP" this once and, if no answer, fade away quietly  .

It shouldn't matter.  As long as whatever you are using to run the app can be on the same network as the machine that's running their interface on the FS PC, then yes.  The underlying network, hardware wise, is irrelevant really.

Thanks for the super quick reply!  I kinda figured that but wondered if anyone had used it in this way.  Do you know if the PC program is the same one they use for the DEMO version? If so I could try that and it should tell me for sure.  Thanks again :Peace:

EDIT:  Just tried with newest version of VAInterface Lite and it works great with the 737NGX, so off to buy the full version shortly  .  Now to decide which one 777 or 737, or do I even need both???? .

I know this is the PMDG 777 forum, but I just wanted to update...I just bought the A320 version and it works great!!!  Just as good as the PMDG ones.  Very smooth and quick response times too.

Just in case anyone here also has the VRinsight CDU2 like myself (I have this app and a CDU2), VRi has now released some beta drivers for the CDU2 and MCP2 Boeing (and now Airbus) panel. You can get them at the address below.

Is there a DEMO version to try first? If so I would love to do that before I shell out the cash.

Trust me on this - you don't need a demo, just GET IT! :D

Yes, that's how I found out it works.  You do need the latest version of the software for the PC, which is available on their website. You do have to register to download it which I think is strange and should not be neccessary.  I found it elsewhere but I'm away fron my PC and don't remember . I'll try and find it for you later.
