September 3, 201411 yr I am just curious. How many of us are using multiple monitors for P3Dv2.x? Are multi-monitor users still minority? I think that multi-monitor users get more affected by the changes that LM team makes for each release (like clouds). If such users are increasing, it may be important for developers and their testers to take the statistic into account. Yuji Y
September 3, 201411 yr Currently, I use 3 screens (Samsung LED 40' TV @ 1920x1020 60Hz per screen) with Nvidia surround and a single Titan GPU.
September 3, 201411 yr Single monitor here but ONLY because I don't have the money and space for three... Would love to have three!!! BTW that money doesn't only concern the monitors themselves but also the higher end hardware I would need because I couldn't stand three monitors if I had to lower any of the settings I have now... ^_^
September 3, 201411 yr Bit the bullet and went Triple here... Can't go back. The big gain is more true to life sizing... . Increased ability to see instruments etc...

September 3, 201411 yr Using 3 1920x1080 monitors on a single 780Ti. Works great at moderate to high settings, until I set OpusFX real weather on a cloudy day. Even without SGSS (NI). Usually have to resize main P3D2 window to 3500x1080 (using AutoHotKey). Olewww.flightsimnorway.com
September 3, 201411 yr Using 2 x 27" monitors (linked by a zotac splitter so is seen as one at 3840x1920) for outside view and 2 x 18" for gauges.. running off 2 x GTX 670oc cards in SLI... although not using the AFR friendly.exe at this time due to graphic anomalies... Having said that, the lower to panels are used for the Jeehell A320 software...so i don't run a VC etc hence my frames are good... but having 3 monitors i suspect is causing a drain on my cards... planning to get a 2 x 42" TV's for the outside view (or 1 x 55" tv) as this will be for the home cockpit i am building... i9 13900KF @ 5.5Ghz | MoBo MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi | Corsair Vengeance Black RGB RS 64gb DDR4 3200MHz | MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Vanguard SOC 32GB | MP33 Pro 1TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD for OS | Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" 4TB SSD SATA2 | Samsung 990 PRO 2TB | Corsair RM1000X 2021 1300W 80 Plus Gold PSU | Antec Dark Fleet DF700 Flux Gaming Case | Win 11 home | Samsung 65" 4K TV | G512 Keyboard | Razer Basilisk V2 Mouse | WinCtrl URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal / 32 PAC Metal | WinCtrl Ursa Minor Sidestick |Velocity One Rudder | MiniCockpit FCU and EFIS | WinCtrl MCDU | Stream Deck XL | Tobii Eye Tracker | Pimax Crystal Light | Doug
September 3, 201411 yr 3 27" 1920x1080 monitors with a single EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX. I also use a postprocess shader I wrote and have NO DISTORTION on my side monitors. I could never go back to stretched views, and they honestly make me feel dizzy now if I do. FaceTrackNoIR, but it may not tune as well as IR tracking solutions, or haven't had time to tune it just right. Framerates are usually just under 30 until there is heavy weather or scenery. You can really notice stutter in side views because the view is perpendicular to your movement. P3D 2.3 helped framerates and stutter alot, but microstutter is still there. I read somewhere to try many FPS cap speeds for different cockpits, but ain't nobody got time for that. September 3, 201411 yr Using triple monitors on a single gtx 780 6gb. Have two of them (SLI), but seems to get better frames on a single card than with the afr trick. If it ain't broke, i fix it until it is...
September 3, 201411 yr Author I use 3 +1 monitors and I love it! Three for VC and one for instrument panel. I get more feeling that I am being in the air with 3 monitors. I can not go back to single monitor. The number of votes are not many yet, but I am a bit surprised that rather many are using multiple monitors. I see that I am not that nurd B) ! I can tell that to my wife . Yuji Y
September 3, 201411 yr Using two of my three Dell Ultrasharp 27s with the third running ASN and EFB. Tried nVidia Surround; didn't like the distortion on the outer monitors or the max 1080 rez (Native on the Dells is 2550 x 1440 and I can really tell the difference).
September 3, 201411 yr Hi, I'm using three Samsung Syncmaster T260HD monitors at 5760x1200 via EVGA Titan Black Superclocked. I'd never go back to a single monitor again. Hi Mike, Did you notice an improvement over the GTX 690 you used to have? I still have a GTX 690 running three TVs at 5760x1080 and I am wondering whether the switch to a Titan is worth it. Thanks, Maurice
September 3, 201411 yr Using 3x27" at 5760x1080 with 2 GTX580, SLI in surround mode. Sometimes I miss the resolution of my 30" LP3065 but the triple screens together with TrackIr are the best for the immersion of sitting within the plane.
