September 12, 201411 yr The only 2 aircraft I have a good VC integration with the GTN750, are the Milviz C310 (thank the maker, for that 'free radio' panel), and the Ants Aircraft Tecnam.Add Eaglesoft Liberty XL2 and Eaglesoft SR22 Turbo to the FSX/P3DV2 VC integration of both dual GTN 650s or single GTN 750. Those will soon be followed by the FSX/P3D Standard SR22 and Standard SR20. The SR22 Turbo is now converted to a dual FSX/P3DV2 installer at one pricepoint. PS: The entire Cirrus line will receive an VC update at no cost to owners. PSS: These all include VC integration of Mindstar GNS dual 430s as well.
September 12, 201411 yr Author If you consider that once a 3rd party developer creates an add-on for FSX, that's it, unless the add-on has some bugs that need fixing. FSX was basically abandoned by MS and never changes. The difference with P3d is that LM is constantly changing it and that requires constant vigilance and upgrades for every 3rd party add on. I see what you're saying but P3D is more like an upgrade, not a new platform... the two sims can look very very similar side by side... so in this case upgrade pricing would make more sense. Add Eaglesoft Liberty XL2 and Eaglesoft SR22 Turbo to the FSX/P3DV2 VC integration of both dual GTN 650s or single GTN 750. Those will soon be followed by the FSX/P3D Standard SR22 and Standard SR20. Now seems it's not fully integrated... it's a flat gauge -which is fine I guess but the PFD HSI is not driven by the GTN750. But something tells me when F1 adds more variables to the GTN it should work http://www.simforums.com/forums/gtn-750-autocrs-gps-course_topic50019.html The green CDI will point to the current GTN track though... | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 12, 201411 yr Do I just redownload the SR22 Turbo red airplane wrapper to get the P3d GTN version? Yes, re download and re install the FSX version first then allow the P3DV2 installer to do it's job. Probably best to uninstall the old one prior to proceeding to the above...
September 12, 201411 yr Ryan, How does this work with default aircraft .... do not think it was mentioned in your review: PFD HSI is .... or is not ... driven by the GTN750? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 12, 201411 yr Maybe in USA. I had to pay over 80 Euros including shipping costs when i bought it from a dealer here in Austria. Dood! I would have been happy to buy it for you for $25 , $5 for my troubles, and just add standard airmail rates to Europe… €80 is ridiculous! September 12, 201411 yr Author Ryan, How does this work with default aircraft .... do not think it was mentioned in your review: PFD HSI is .... or is not ... driven by the GTN750? So far with default planes it drives the HSI. I tried in it Carenado's Seneca which uses their G600 and it did not work. This is because F1 hasn't yet implemented a "linkgps=on" like RXP used to have. F1 said they will add one soon and then it should work well. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 12, 201411 yr "Now seems it's not fully integrated... it's a flat gauge -which is fine I guess but the PFD HSI is not driven by the GTN750." Geez, you meant full 3D knob implementation. We've only done that for the Liberty XL2 VC. Sorry.. B)
September 12, 201411 yr Yes, good on Eaglesoft for getting on board with the GTN750/650 and providing compatibility for a wide range of their aircraft. Would be fantastic if Carenado did the same, but I cannot see it - they're less into "long term customer value" and more in to the conveyer belt sales approach. :smile:And same with Milviz - good to know the B55 is compatible too. (although I much prefer the C310 to the B55, meself!).Yes, to reiterate, in the US the Garmin Worldwide DVD is cheap and easy to get. In Europe and the Rest of the World, you have to get it from individual dealers which can be hard to locate, and very expensive. :(

September 12, 201411 yr Maybe this is a silly question, but does this addon have the ability to be run from a networked pc/laptop via simconnect or widefs? I have a triple screen setup for the main VC, but it would be nice to have the garmin gps on the laptop screen via simconnect.. in the past something like maxvista made it possible to "drag" the window over.. but with windows 8.1 there is no such software extending option. September 12, 201411 yr Moderator No, it is not possible. Like any other 'gauge' it has to be run within the application's memory space, which makes it impossible to be run externally. One can of course, "undock" the sub-window for display on another monitor, but that is all. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

September 12, 201411 yr I've made it a practice to "learn at least one new thing everyday." While this has served me well, I've noticed over the past few years that I tend to "forget at least three things I used to know" everyday... How true...on all levels... September 12, 201411 yr At present, I only have the GTN 650 in the Carenado F33A. However, I plan to acquire the 750 when RealAir makes their mods available. Question is : How does the 750 compare with the 650, excluding the obvious difference in size?
