September 13, 201411 yr Raymar...are you referring to the latest Lear 24? Dave Yep. the Lionheart Creations LJ24B. Stunning looks and performance but needs a PC with some umph. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
September 13, 201411 yr Also, the new update for the Lear 24B has a flat panel option which works nicely to install a 2d version of whatever gauge one wishes, including a (smaller) 750 or a 650... September 13, 201411 yr Fascinating technology! My former airline bought some 5000 iPads to help eliminate paper along with costly revisions. Arguably, GA technology has surpassed air carrier technology for quite a few years now.
September 13, 201411 yr Author Oh yeah, probably starting with the Cirrus back in late 09's to early 2000's.... at least they seem to have been the forerunner of new GA tech that a lot of popular companies now repilcate. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 13, 201411 yr Moderator How does the 750 compare with the 650, excluding the obvious difference in size? In addition to what has been mentioned already, the GTN750 also has a full transponder, com1/2 and nav1/2 capability, and audio control system built in. Fr. September 13, 201411 yr I'm interested in the GTN 750. The Flight 1 product page says "WAAS coverage includes the USA and parts of Canada." Does anyone have more specific information on what parts of Canada are included? Is Alaska included? -Bob
September 13, 201411 yr Just checked PAJN as a test.. and yes the RNAV LNAV+V approaches are there. Same for CYYJ.. The GTN uses the same navdata as the GNS, so anything that you find there should appear. Bert
September 13, 201411 yr The GNS 530 in my Lancer, gets my home-made K 69. But it doesn't show up in the GTN because I built it and it's fake or faked to you guys until you install it...take a look at The bottom of my signature. Y'all want it, I'll get it uploaded here. September 13, 201411 yr Yes, but as far as navdata goes, just like the GNS, there are newer expired Garmin databases available if you ask around. Bert
September 13, 201411 yr Bert, Thanks, I will have a look at some airports. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 13, 201411 yr Is there any conflict also having the RXP 340/530 installed in fsx along with the GTN...?
