Me too Rich lol.  Please remind me to keep my coffee at least 10 feet from the keyboard when on AVSIM.  All it took was reading Tom's "it didn't" reply to the post saying this isn't going to end well and the coffee nearly went flying when I burst out laughing.  I thought for sure Robert was going to drop the hammer on him, but Tom shut him down with two simple words

This thread is starting to remind me of an episode of the of the twilight zone. And they always end badly for all concerned. You have been warned:-)

We are preparing to put SP1c out to testing at some point between now and Monday.

I was disappointed when reading about the plans for NGX SP2...

Would have been better to have fully completed the NGX software first.

I hope the team can reconsider that... The Wx Radar is a must have addon.

Regards

Santiago

I too would be glad to pay a reasonable fee for the Wx. radar on the NGX.[ I know it will take a lot of time and money to finish]

I guess in the meantime, I'll have to use the iFly, for my 737 flights.

And the B777 for  longer flights. Seems, I can't do a flight without the Wx.  radar now.

Gents-

On the topic of the 200ER:

We have not made any decisions regarding the schedule for the 200ER variants.  We have not even begun the process of evaluating the changes required in order to simulate the different engine types, hardware changes in the flight deck etc.

When we make that evaluation- I will pass that information along- but it hasn't happened yet.

Hmm....this is unfortunate. I fear this might end up like the BBJ.....

IIRC the real -200LR isn't selling well and the -200ER/IGW variants will continue to be very popular in the airlines for quite some time.

Well, how many can you fit in a C172?

With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.

Good morning Robert,

Thank you for the informative update. Much appreciated.

Please disregard if you previously mentioned this in your update; is it expected that the additional stability that the SP1c will bring for the 777 will remedy or improve the "freezing issue" that some of us are having?

Cheers,

Sean Franklin

Which variants of the 747 will be developed? Will the cargo versions include the BCF, LCF or the 8F?

The NGX is the only aircraft I fly in FSX now days with over 1000 hours logged.  Its truly near perfection in every aspect.  I was only hoping for a -900ER addition to the NGX fleet as the RW airline I work for now has over 20 of them with many more to come.  Many of the flight plans/performance reports I use are built for that aircraft type and no longer work for the -800, especially for the ETOPS routes.

Personally I don't need a SP2, but I'd love to see that -900ER!

Gents-

I added a note to the post regarding NGX SP2, then suspended a fellow for 12hrs for posting without signing his name..

The DC-6 is still in development...  (it really is coming along nicely too!)

I have updated both the Xplane and P3D development threads- and that is all of the information we have for you on those two platforms at this time. (Neither update tells you much you didn't already get from this update- but i wanted to keep them in sync with the latest at least...)

this is something i am interested in... i cant wait.

Thank You very much for this dedicated update!

Great to read about the development for XPlane as well!

Enjoy flying and happy landings.
