October 8, 201411 yr Author Many of the sounds can be replaced with the Flight1 version, .... And as has been reported I replaced the decision height file, DH and it plays twice. I've done the same and quite like the outcome. If you want the Decision Height file to only play once.. 1. Open the Gauge_Update.xml file, in the GaugePC12 folder, with Notepad. 2. Search for "decision" 3. At the bottom of that section, make the following change: (L:ASD_SWITCH_TERRAIN_INHIBIT,number) 0 == and if{ 1 (>L:BUFFER_PC12_Dh,number) 1 (>L:ASD_SWITCH_TERRAIN_INHIBIT,number) } Bert
October 8, 201411 yr What are some altitude/psid numbers you are seeing I'm in a short flight at FL150 and I see 4.6 psi, no problems...the system works completely in AUTO mode and ECS in AUTO too...
October 9, 201411 yr Commercial Member I'm in a short flight at FL150 and I see 4.6 psi, no problems...the system works completely in AUTO mode and ECS in AUTO too... Actually that's a bit on the high side, I'd expect it to be around 3.0-3.5 at that altitude. October 9, 201411 yr How much of the original plane is left when all mods are applied and the sounds got replaced? ^_^ Seriously, reminds me of my JetProp which, after all, still is one of my favourites. LOL, yes.. my JP is custom too! Let's be fair and honest.. if Carenado would try to beta test properly, there would be less need to customize. I've retired from the public beta team after the TBM, which was/is one of the best Carenado planes... and had almost zero bugs... which was fixed within the first week. I thought they turned the corner with the TBM, but.. old habbits are hard to stop.

October 9, 201411 yr Ihave been testing all addons afer SP1 and have to report hat all works fine now, I was confused about the Barber needle in the ASI and tested it and works as designed also, two things only , one already mentioned the EPS SW when in Armed the light does not turn OFF whit the Batteries ON, and a typo in the Condition Lever it says GROUNDLE IDLE.. hehe!!! and a label that I think belongs to the PL stays put covering Power Control label. thankyou Jorge PS I dont have a mouse wheel as I use a TrackBall, to solve my problem I got an old mouse whth a wheel , streeped it off all switches and Voila!! have a wheel!!.. no problems. Another PS , The pop up for the EADI-EHSI when undocked , fits in a screen larger than the size of the gauges , I could not figure out how to fix this , any help???
October 9, 201411 yr A bug I noticed is using a mouse button to center the course or heading knobs causes them to be locked into 10 degree at a time turns after that. Need to restart fsx before I can move the course and heading knobs in single digits again. I wonder if this is what I've been experiencing too. I emailed Bert about it - if I use the mouse wheel in the VC the bug moves in 10 deg increments. If I take a 2 sec pause it will work once then moves in 10 again. Does clock and drag work? Also Bert's 2d popup works normally | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

October 12, 201411 yr Commercial Member For those who want a more accurate gear extension/retraction time, I tried to take an average from a few real life flights this week and came up with: Nose: 3 second retraction, 11 second extension Left main: 12 second retraction, 12 second extension Right main: 11 second retraction, 12 second extension These can be changed in the aircraft.cfg. Also wound up replacing my own altitude alerter sound to the correct 5-chime and autopilot disconnect tone. As for some more bugs: -When GA is pushed, flight director doesn't do anything. Should roll wings level and pitch up approximately 8 degrees. -Altitude alerter appears to sound at 1000 feet and altitude capture. Should really only sound once at approximately 1000 (maybe +/- 100 feet) before capture. -When EHSI in NAV mode, HSI seems to always display "LOC 1 (or 2)"...this should switch between NAV and LOC based on the frequency that is tuned in. -When EHSI in ARC mode, the navigation mode doesn't display at all. -DME N1/N2 switcher button is missing (not functional). October 12, 201411 yr What aircraft changes do we make for the gear time? Maybe Bert can fix some of those bugs.
