HD textures i.e. 20XX or 40XX are known to be less VAS friendly and result in an OOM sooner than standard Definition textures 10XX would.

Has anyone tried to investigate if they can tell the difference between HD textures and SD textures with DSR enabled on the SD's but not the HD's

and if so, if the difference is not discernible or negligible are SD textures with DSR more VAS Friendly than HD textures alone?

I dont quite fully understand what I am doing wrong here. I have followed steps provided in this thread and tried for instance 2x with 30-33 % smoothness. When I go to full screen, the FPS drops like a bomb. 

Is prepar3d 2,4 more smooth than fsx?im asking because i just did a clean install,and im in doubt,should it be prepar3d or fsx again?

I GOTTA try this! Maybe I can make up for the 120 vertical pixel loss when I swapped out my 1920x1200 24" monitor for my new 1920x1080p 27" Dell touch screen.

 

I sure love actuating all the instrument buttons directly on the screen! Will the right driver work with my GTX 770? What do y'all think?

Ok found the driver but they are for a notebook and also refer to the 900 series cards. I am talking about a 700 series gtx 780 TI and some people are saying they are using these cards with DSR. I'm sorry I just don't believe it
