November 28, 201411 yr Some shots of these new goodies would be great as I am not ready to install this yet - thanks Rich Sennett
November 28, 201411 yr They do look nice .... (except perhaps the gray triangle emulating flow from the nozzle ... assume was done for performance reasons) There appears to be a bug ... after the De-ice completes there is no option for push-back, have to reset position clear GSX. Otherwise, very welcome update, especially this time of year. Cheers, Rob.
November 28, 201411 yr Thanks for that, Rob. Just received notification today and was debating to wait for the FS2Crew Ultimate Ground Crew. Rick Almeida
November 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the video, Rob, but I think you missed a spot! hahaha :-) Regards, Efrain RuizLiveDISPATCH @ http://www.livedispatch.org (CLOSED) ☹️

November 28, 201411 yr No bugs at all for me. After De-Icing i get the option for my push-back directions. Philipp Schwaegerl
November 28, 201411 yr Appears to be a know issue and Umberto is aware and replicated ... I'm sure he'll get it fixed soon. Cheers, Rob.
November 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member Appears to be a know issue and Umberto is aware and replicated ... I'm sure he'll get it fixed soon. It's already been fixed, at least the one when the parking pushback preference was set to "None", it works now with the current set of files from the Live Update so, even if the pushback preference is "None", you'll always have the option of a straight pushback. There's just a minor outstanding issue, that happens only when you exit from the parking customization screen: if you don't select "Restart Couatl" after returning to flight, pushback won't work. This is surely a bug that we'll fix too, but there's this workaround. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook

If I use the deicer even on a gate set to use Both for pushback, without going into any customization options, what happens is the deicers come and do their thing, when finished the one on the left side departs completely but the one on the right side backs up near the aft baggage belt and stays there. The menu says deicing complete, but never gives option to proceed with pushback. Clicking on it doesn't change anything as well. Only solution is to reset and say no to deice. This is with the 737-700NGX and the latest update which I just installed. I can make a video if you like as it is repeatable. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
November 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member when finished the one on the left side departs completely but the one on the right side backs up near the aft baggage belt and stays there. That doesn't have anything to do with the problem discussed that has been fixed, which was the lack of the pushback menu after deicing, when the pushback preference of the parking was set to "None". What you are seeing, instead, might just be a generic "vehicle stuck" issue, which can happen with any vehicle that needs to go through the airport using the AFCAD paths (Catering, Fuel, Deicers and FollowMe), and it usually indicates some kind of problem with the AFCAD. That's why, to exit from these situation, GSX always had the option to restart, which acts as a panic button. As requested, many times already, when something like this happens, you should report it on our forum (not here, please) and indicate ALL the following: - The airport used. If it's not default, clearly identify the scenery used - The gate used - The airplane used, if it's not default, clearly identify the airplane and, if it's an internally-supported airplane, try to tell if you further customized it, or you are using the configuration that comes with GSX With all this data, we can eventually check if it's something we should/can fix in GSX, or if it's something caused by a problem with the scenery AFCAD, which is the reason for having a "panic" button to begin with, since we can't possibly anticipate ALL possible bugs or issues in sceneries. November 28, 201411 yr Excellent add on and one I can't do without. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for realistic ground ops. Umberto, might I request for us movie makers that the green 'marshaller waiting on stand' (I can't actually remember the exact text right now) info message that flashes up momentarily upon selection of a gate be hidden when the message verbosity is set to 'none'? It's the one thing that I can't get rid of currently. | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com
